Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah dilakukannya pembuatan prototipe Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS) dengan teknik pendinginan mist/spraying.dan kemudian dilakukanlah eksperimen dengan tujuan mencari tahu efektivitas kinerja, kekurangan, dan kelebihan prototipe Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS) dengan teknik pendinginan mist/spray untuk mendinginkan baterai li-ion pada motor listrik. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D). Metode R&D yang digunakan adalah R&D dengan metode campuran. Penelitian meliputi desain, perencanaan, pengambilan data dan kesimpulan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan melihat perubahan suhu baterai tanpa beban dan dengan beban selama durasi waktu yang telah ditentukan. Hasil uji coba memperlihatkan bahwa metode pendinginan mist/spray merupakan metode pendinginan yang efektif dikarenakan BTMS mampu mempertahankan suhu dengan jangkauan 34C - 36C dengan rata-rata pengurangan suhu mencapai 2,5 C. Berdasarkan rumus, didapatkan nilai T Tanpa Pendingin (TTP) sebesar 3,35 dan (TDP) sebesar 2,01. Jika kedua nilai dibandingkan maka akan didapat kesimpulan bahwa nilai TTP > TDP. Sehingga Battery Thermal Management System dapat dikatakan efektif. Lalu dengan membandingkan nilai dari pendinginan yang telah diteliti dengan pendinginan yang diteliti. Pendinginan menggunakan kabut halus atau semprotan cairan untuk mendinginkan permukaan baterai secara langsung. Menghasilkan laju Pendinginan dengan laju biasanya antara 2°C hingga 5°C per menit. Berdasarkan data dapat hasil laju pendinginan pada variasi 2°C per setengah menit. Sehingga dapat dikatakan prototipe sistem BTMS yang dibuat adalah efektif karena berada pada jarak nilai suhu yang mirip. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa BTMS dengan metode pendinginan mist/spray pada motor listrik dapat bekerja dengan baik dan sesuai dengan rancangan yang telah dibuat. And then an experiment is carried out with the aim of finding out the performance effectiveness, shortcomings and advantages of a Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS) prototype using a mist/spraying cooling technique. spray to cool li-ion batteries in electric motors. This research method is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The R&D method used is R&D with mixed methods. Research includes design, planning, data collection and conclusions. Data is collected by looking at changes in battery temperature without load and with load over a predetermined time duration. The test results show that the mist/spray cooling method is an effective cooling method because BTMS is able to maintain temperatures in the range of 34C - 36C with an average temperature reduction reaching 2.5 C. Based on the formula, the T value without cooling (TTP) is 3.35 and (TDP) is 2.01. If the two values are compared, it will be concluded that the value of TTP > TDP. So the Battery Thermal Management System can be said to be effective. Then by comparing the value of the cooling that has been studied with the cooling that is being studied. Cooling uses a fine mist or liquid spray to cool the battery surface directly. Produces Cooling rates at rates typically between 2 C to 5 C per minute. Based on the data, the cooling rate results can be a variation of 2 C per half minute. So it can be said that the BTMS system prototype created is effective because it is located at a similar temperature range. So it can be concluded that BTMS with the mist/spray cooling method on electric motors can work well and in accordance with the design that has been made.
