Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bank Sampah Amanah Bersama yang terletak di Cilandak Timur dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui peran bank sampah dalam mewujudkan masyarakat peduli sampah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan Ketua Bank Sampah Amanah Bersama dan masyarakat sebagai nasabah. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan yaitu: (1) Bank Sampah Amanah Bersama memiliki program pengelolaan sampah dan program edukasi masyarakat yang ditujukan untuk mewujudkan masyarakat peduli akan sampah. Pada program pengelolaan sampah, Bank Sampah Amanah Bersama berperan untuk mengurangi sampah masyarakat, berperan memfasilitasi masyarakat untuk mengelola sampah dan berperan untuk mengubah sampah menjadi barang yang ekonomis. Pada program edukasi masyarakat, Bank Sampah Amanah Bersama berperan dalam mengajak masyarakat untuk mengelola sampah, berperan dalam membina perilaku masyarakat dan berperan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat. Program bank sampah yang dibentuk Bank Sampah Amanah Bersama menunjukkan peran aktif bank sampah. (2) Pengetahuan, perilaku dalam diri masyarakat mempengaruhi masyarakat untuk peduli dengan sampah. Selain itu peran bank sampah dalam memotivasi masyarakat juga mempengaruhi cara pandang dan perilaku masyarakat untuk peduli dengan sampah. (3) Bentuk partisipasi yang digunakan oleh Bank Sampah Amanah Bersama berdasarkan Arnstein Ladder termasuk bentuk partisipasi konsultasi, yang berupa masyarakat sudah mengetahui manfaat dari program, mengetahui informasi program, secara sukarela mengikuti program, masyarakat dapat memberikan pendapat, kritik dan saran serta adanya pertimbangan dari bank sampah untuk pendapat, kritik dan saran dari masyarakat yang dinilai baik. ***** This research was conducted at the Amanah Bersama Waste Bank located in East Cilandak with the aim of finding out the role of waste banks in creating a waste-caring society. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the Chairman of Amanah Bersama Waste Bank and the community as customers. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the research that has been carried out are: (1) Amanah Bersama Waste Bank has a waste management program and community education program aimed at making people care about waste. In the waste management program, the Amanah Bersama Waste Bank plays a role in reducing community waste, plays a role in facilitating the community to manage waste and plays a role in converting waste into economical goods. In the community education program, Amanah Bersama Waste Bank plays a role in inviting the community to manage waste, plays a role in developing community behavior and plays a role in raising public awareness. The waste bank program established by Amanah Bersama Waste Bank shows the active role of waste banks. (2) Knowledge and behavior in society influence society to care about waste. Apart from that, the role of waste banks in motivating people also influences people's views and behavior in caring about waste. (3) The form of participation used by the Amanah Bersama Waste Bank based on the Arnstein Ladder includes the form of consultation participation, in the form of the community already knowing the benefits of the program, knowing the program information, voluntarily participating in the program, the community can provide opinions, criticism and suggestions as well as consideration from the waste bank for opinions, criticism and suggestions from the community that are considered good.
