Abstract

Keputusan investor dalam menanamkan modal akan dipengaruhi oleh faktor pendorong yang mencakup pertumbuhan ekonomi yang stabil, resiko keuangan, tingkat suku bunga, daya saing pasar, ketersediaan sumber daya dan tenaga kerja, serta kebijakan terkait penanaman modal dan faktor penarik yang mencakup persepsi investor atas negara tujuan mencakup persepsi resiko politik, strategi produksi dan promosi, serta persepsi terhadap pengembalian modal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh korupsi dan pembangunan manusia terhadap investasi asing langsung di ASEAN-4. Data yang digunakan adalah indeks persepsi korupsi, indeks pembangunan manusia, dan aliran masuk investasi asing dari tahun 2010-2022 yang diperoleh dari UNCTAD, Transparancy International, dan UNDP. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi berganda data panel dengan Fixed Effect Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan korupsi dan Pembangunan manusia berpengaruh terhadap FDI. Namun, secara parsial korupsi tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap FDI. Sebaliknya, pembangunan manusia memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap FDI. ***** Investor decisions to invest are influenced by push factors such as stable economic growth, financial risk, interest rates, market competitiveness, availability of resources and labor, as well as investment-related policies. Additionally, pull factors include investor perceptions of the destination country, encompassing political risk perception, production and promotion strategies, and return on investment perception. This study aims to determine the impact of corruption and human development on foreign direct investment (FDI) in ASEAN-4. The data used includes the Corruption Perception Index, Human Development Index, and FDI inflows from 2010-2022, obtained from UNCTAD, Transparency International, and UNDP. The data is analyzed using panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model. The results show that, simultaneously, corruption and human development affect FDI. However, partially, corruption does not have a significant impact on FDI. Conversely, human development has a positive and significant effect on FDI.
