Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara gaya kepemimpinan ketua Karang Taruna terhadap kemampuan anggota dalam penerapan civic virtue di Karang Taruna Kelurahan Kedoya Utara. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain dan pendekatan penelitian yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan menggunakan teknik insidental sampling sehingga sampel yang didapatkan berjumlah 32 responden yang merupakan anggota Karang Taruna Kelurahan Kedoya Utara. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa angket yang menggunakan skala likert. Uji prasyarat dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas dengan hasil menunjukan data telah terdistribusi dengan normal serta terdapat pengaruh linier antara kedua variabel tersebut. Pada hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji regresi sederhana, uji parsial atau uji-t, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Pada pengujian regresi linier sederhana menunjukan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000877 ≤ 0,05. Selanjutnya untuk pengujian hipotesis parsial penelitian ini menunjukan terdapata pengaruh secara positif dengan nilai t-hitung 3,694 ≥ t-tabel 2,042 pada alpha 5%. Besaran dari pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kemampuan anggota dalam penerapan civic virtue ditujukan dengan nilai R squere 0,313, atau sebesar 31,3% yang memiliki tingkat pengaruh cukup berarti. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang cukup berarti antara gaya kepemimpinan ketua Karang Taruna terhadap kemampuan anggota dalam penerapan civic virtue di Karang Taruna Kelurahan Kedoya Utara. Kata kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan, Anggota, Karang Taruna, Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Civic virtue. ***** The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the leadership style of the youth organization chairman on the ability of members to apply civic virtue in the youth organization of Kedoya Utara Village. This study employs a quantitative approach with a survey research design. The research sample was determined using incidental sampling technique so that the sample obtained amounted to 32 respondents who were members of the Kedoya Utara Village Youth Organization. Data were collected using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire employing a Likert scale. The prerequisite test in this study employs the normality test and linearity test, the results of which indicate that the data is normally distributed and that there is a linear influence between the two variables. The results of hypothesis testing using simple regression, partial, or t-tests, and coefficient of determination tests are also presented. Simple linear regression testing reveals a significance value of 0.000877, which is less than 0.05. Furthermore, the results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence of leadership style on the ability of members to apply Civic virtue. This influence is demonstrated by a t-count value of 3.694, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.042 at the 5% alpha level. The magnitude of this influence is quantified by the R-squared value of 0.313, which represents 31.3% of the total variation in the dependent variable. This value indicates a significant level of influence. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the leadership style of the youth organization chairman and the ability of members to apply civic virtue in the youth organization of Kedoya Utara Village.
