Abstract
Kemajuan teknologi dan kelimpahan sumber daya informasi perlu dibersamai dengan kemampuan literasi digital dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Website merupakan contoh kemajuan teknologi yang masih jarang digunakan sebagai Content Management System (CMS) dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis website untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi sel. Penelitan dan pengembangan (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE dilakukan pada bulan Juni-September 2023. Pengembangan menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis website Power Web Cell yang kemudian diuji kelayakan dan efektivitasnya untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI. Uji kelayakan produk dilakukan oleh 2 orang ahli materi dan 2 orang ahli media. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen kelayakan materi dan kelayakan media. Uji efektivitas produk dilakukan pada 30 peserta didik kelas XI yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen literasi digital yang mengukur lima area dan soal keterampilan berpikir kritis yang mengukur dua belas komponen. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan paired sample t-test pada hasil pretest dan posttest. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Power Web Cell yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan dapat meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Meskipun Power Web Cell cukup efektif, perlu dilakukan kajian kembali pada konten, instrumen tes, dan fitur di dalamnya. Kata Kunci: berpikir kritis; literasi digital; sel; website. ***** Technology advances and the profusion of information resources has the need to be accompanied by the students’ digital literacy and critical thinking skills. Website is the example of technological advances that are still rarely used as Content Management System (CMS) in learning. The purpose of this research is to develop website-based teaching materials to increase students’ digital literacy and critical thinking skills on material about cell. Research and development (R&D) conducted used ADDIE model. The development produces website-based teaching materials (Power Web Cell) which are later tested for the feasibility and the effectiveness in improving digital literacy of grade XI student on cell material. The product feasibility test was carried out by 2 material experts and 2 media experts. Data was collected using a material feasibility and media feasibility instrument. The product effectiveness test was caried out on 30 grade XI students who were selected using simple random sampling technique. The data was retrieved from digital literacy instrument measuring five areas and critical thinking test measuring twelve components. Hypothesis testing was conducted using paired sample t-test on pretest and posttest results. The results show that the developed Power Web Cell is feasible and is effective in improving students’ digital literacy and critical thinking skills. Although Power Web Cell is quite effective, it is necessary to review its contents, test instruments, and features. Keywords: cell; critical thinking; digital literacy; website.
