Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Bagaimana fenomena gentrifikasi dalam kampung Pancoran Buntu II dan sekitarnya terjadi. Kemudian, apa penyebab fenomena gentrifikasi yang terjadi dalam kampung Pancoran Buntu II dan sekitarnya. Serta Bagaimana dampak terjadinya fenomena gentrifikasi dalam kampung Pancoran Buntu II dan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini diambil berdasarkan hasil pengalaman yang terjadi terhadap masyarakat Kampung Pancoran Buntu II. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Adapun strategi yang digunakan untuk menganalisis adalah dengan studi kasus. Kemudian penulis juga menggunakan kajian literatur dalam penelitian ini guna meningkatkan kepekaan teoritis penulis untuk mengenali hal-hal yang penting pada data dan memaknainya. Dengan melalui analisis, penulis merancang dan menyusun daftar pertanyaan wawancara yang lebih bermakna untuk diajukan kepada peserta. Adapun subjek penelitian terdiri dari 8 informan, 4 informan memiliki sepanjang hidupnya di Pancoran Buntu 2 dan 4 informan memiliki riwayat hidup sebagai kaum urbanisasi menuju Jakarta. Penelitian berlangsung di Kampung Pancoran Buntu 2 dari Mei 2023 hingga Juli 2024. Teori dan konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Gentrifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan sudut lingkungan Kampung Pancoran Buntu 2 dan sekitarnya. Secara sosial, Terdapat perbedaan perilaku antara masyarakat Kampung Pancoran Buntu II dengan sekitarnya, seperti penghuni kompleks Liga Mas Pancoran dan Penghuni Apartemen La’venue. Secara ekonomi, dampak gentrifikasi seiring dengan membaiknya kondisi ekonomi akibat meningkatnya peluang usaha, pesatnya pertumbuhan aktivitas perdagangan dan jasa di koridor jalan utama. Penulis juga menemukan bahwa Secara fisik, terdapat perbedaan estetika dalam hal arsitektur, kebersihan, dan permanensi bangunan di Kampung Pancoran Buntu II dan sekitarnya. Disparitas distribusi layanan infrastruktur juga terlihat akibat gentrifikasi. ***** This research aims to describe how the phenomenon of gentrification occurs in Pancoran Buntu II village and its surroundings. Then, what are the causes of the gentrification phenomenon occurring in Pancoran Buntu II village and its surroundings. And how the impact of the gentrification phenomenon affects Pancoran Buntu II village and its surroundings. This research is based on the experiences of the Pancoran Buntu II village community. The research method used in this study is qualitative. This qualitative research was conducted with a phenomenological approach. The strategy used for analysis is a case study. The author also uses literature review in this research to enhance theoretical sensitivity to recognize important aspects in the data and interpret them. Through analysis, the author designed and compiled a more meaningful list of interview questions to ask participants. The research subjects consisted of 8 informants: 4 informants who have lived their entire lives in Pancoran Buntu 2 and 4 informants who have a background of urban migration to Jakarta. The research took place in Pancoran Buntu 2 village from May 2023 to July 2024. The theory and concept used in this research is Gentrification. The results of this study show that from the perspective of the Pancoran Buntu 2 village environment and its surroundings. Socially, there are behavioral differences between the residents of Pancoran Buntu II village and its surroundings, such as the residents of the private housing complex Liga Mas Pancoran and the residents of La'venue Apartment. Economically, the impact of gentrification aligns with improving economic conditions due to increased business opportunities, rapid growth of trade and service activities in the main road corridor. The author also found that physically, there are aesthetic differences in terms of architecture, cleanliness, and building permanence in Pancoran Buntu II village and its surroundings. Disparities in infrastructure service distribution are also visible due to gentrification.
