Abstract

(Indonesia) Kemampuan membaca merupakan bagian penting dari Pendidikan siswa dan salah satu strategi membaca yang saat ini digunakan adalah membaca terbimbing. Tujuan membaca terbimbing adalah membuat siswa menjadi pembaca independen yang mampu mengakfifkan daya memecahkan masalah dan proses kognitif siswa yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini meliputi kegiatan membaca terbimbing pada kelas 2 di sekolah dasar X di daerah Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan proses pembelajaran membaca terbimbing secara nyata dalam sekolah X serta untuk mengetahui kesesuaian proses pembelajaran tersebut dan kesesuaiannya dengan proses pembelajaran berdasarkan International Primary Curriculum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa proses pembelajaran dalam kelas membaca terbimbing selama observasi berlangsung, beberapa prosesnya: Entry Point, Knowledge Harvest, Learning Goals, Learning Activities, Reflecting Journaling, sangat sesuai dengan proses pembelajaran yang ada dalam panduan kurikulum meskipun kegiatan assessment for learning dan media project adalah kegiatan yang tidak secara eksplisit ditemukan dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci: Proses belajar mengajar membaca terbimbing, International Primary Curriculum, kesesuaian. (English) Reading skill is an imperative part of a student’s education and one of the reading strategies currently used is guided reading. The purpose of guided reading is to make students become an independent reader who can activate problem solving power and their higher-order cognitive processes. This research includes guided reading activities in grade 2 at primary school X in Kuningan, South Jakarta. The purpose of this study is to portray the actual guided reading teaching and learning process in school X and to find out the alignment of the actual teaching and learning process with the process based on International Primary Curriculum. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that that teaching and learning of guided reading subjects in the classroom during the observation took place, some of the processes: Entry Point, Knowledge Harvest, Learning Goals, Learning Activities, Reflecting Journaling, were very relevant to the provisions contained in the curriculum guide although assessment for learning and media project activities are not commonly or explicitly found in this study.
