Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan scientific creativity peserta didik pada topik ekosistem dan magnet melalui model pembelajaran STEAM-PjBL. Model pembelajaran dirancang untuk peserta didik memahami materi pelajaran, mengaitkan pengetahuan baru dengan pengetahuan sebelumnya dalam pengalaman belajar mereka. Masalah yang ditemukan selama observasi adalah kurangnya partisipasi aktif peserta didik, kurangnya semangat, dan seringnya mereka tidak memperhatikan guru. Penyebab utamanya adalah model pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang bervariasi. Model pembelajaran STEAM-PjBL dipilih karena memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pengembangan scirentific creativity peserta didik dan memfasilitasi kerja sama tim dalam pembelajaran sains yang terkait dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 026 Bojongloa dengan jumlah 30 orang peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang melibatkan intervensi dalam model pembelajaran, di mana peneliti berperan sebagai guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, jurnal reflektif, dan tes. Dalam pembelajaran STEAM-PjBL, peserta didik akan terlibat dalam lima tahap model pembelajaran, yaitu Relating, Planning, Developing, Cooperating, dan Transferring. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan indikator scientific creativity yaitu unusual use, real advance, technical production, science imagination, science problem solving, creative eksperimental dan science product Peserta didik bekerja dalam kelompok menggunakan model pembelajaran STEAM-PjBL untuk membuat proyek botol akuarium ekosistem dan mobil magnet. Setiap siklus menunjukkan pengembangan scientific creativity, aspek unusual use dan science imagination dengan masing-masing meningkat sebesar 10% dan 10,83% dari siklus I hingga siklus III. Siklus I: pada aspek technical production sebesar 6,67%. Siklus II: pada aspek unusual use sebesar 7,50%, aspek real advance dan technical production menunjukkan perkembangan sebesar 2.92%. Siklus III: pada aspek technical production dan science imagination berkembang sebesar 6,25% dan 5,83%. Setiap kategori menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan di setiap siklus, mengindikasikan perkembangan positif dan konsisten dalam semua aspek yang diukur dengan pendekatan STEAM-PjBL. DEVELOPING SCIENTIFIC CREATIVITY IN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH THE STEAM-PjBL LEARNING MODEL ON THE TOPIC OF ECOSYSTEMS AND MAGNETS Dinda Candra Yulia Pendidikan Dasar ABSTRACT This research aims to develop students' scientific creativity in the topics of ecosystems and magnets through the STEAM-PjBL learning model. The learning model is designed to help students understand subject matter and connect new knowledge with their previous learning experiences. Issues identified during observations include students' lack of active participation, enthusiasm, and frequent distraction from the teacher, primarily due to the monotonous and less varied instructional model. The STEAM-PjBL model was chosen for its significant impact on developing students' scientific creativity and facilitating teamwork in science education related to everyday life. The study was conducted in Grade 5 of State Elementary School 026 Bojongloa with 30 participants. It employed a classroom action research using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, where the researcher acted as the teacher. Data were collected through observation, interviews, reflective journals, and tests. In STEAM-PjBL learning, students engaged in five stages: Relating, Planning, Developing, Cooperating, and Transferring. Instruments used to measure scientific creativity indicators include unusual use, real advance, technical production, science imagination, science problem solving, creative experimental, and science product. Students worked in groups using the STEAM-PjBL model to create projects such as ecosystem aquarium bottles and magnetic cars. Each cycle showed development in scientific creativity, with unusual use and science imagination increasing by 10% and 10.83%, respectively, from Cycle I to Cycle III. In Cycle I, technical production increased by 6.67%. In Cycle II, unusual use increased by 7.50%, while real advance and technical production showed developments of 2.92%. In Cycle III, technical production and science imagination developed by 6.25% and 5.83%, respectively. Each category demonstrated significant improvement in every cycle, indicating positive and consistent development across all measured aspects using the STEAM-PjBL approach.
