Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi apakah model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berpengaruh terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) siswa pada topik kesetimbangan kimia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 83 Jakarta Utara pada 1 April hingga 14 Mei 2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel masing-masing 36 siswa untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes uraian keterampilan proses sains. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji-t, di mana hasil perhitungan menunjukkan t hitung sebesar 4,761, sedangkan t tabel pada taraf signifikan 0,025 adalah 1,994. Karena t hitung > t tabel, Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima maka terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) siswa pada materi kesetimbangan kimia. ***** This research aims to explore whether the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model affects students' Science Process Skills (SPS) on the topic of chemical equilibrium. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 83 North Jakarta from April 1 to May 14, 2024. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. Sampling was done using purposive sampling techniques, with each group (experimental and control) consisting of 36 students. The instrument used to collect data was an essay test on science process skills. Data analysis was performed using a t-test, where the results showed a t-value of 4.761, while the t-table at a significance level of 0.025 was 1.994. Since the t-value > t-table, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted indicating that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has an effect on students' Science Process Skills (SPS) in the topic of chemical equilibrium.
