Abstract

Dalam dunia industri farmasi yang kompetitif, tantangan mempertahankan karyawan berbakat menjadi krusial untuk keberhasilan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran employee engagement sebagai mediator dalam pengaruh perceived organizational support terhadap employee retention karyawan farmasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif cross sectional. Sebanyak 400 karyawan industri farmasi swasta dengan masa kerja 6 bulan diperoleh menjadi sampel penelitian melalui Teknik convenience. Data dalam penelitian diperoleh melalui 3 instrumen, yaitu Employee Retention Questionnaire, Survey of Perceived Organizational Support, dan Employee Engagement Scale. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan terkait pentingnya perceived organizational support untuk meningkatkan employee engagement sehingga perusahaan dapat mempertahankan karyawan berbakat dalam industri farmasi. ***** In the competitive pharmaceutical industry, the challenge of retaining talented employees becomes crucial for company success. This study explores employee engagement's role as a mediator on the effect of perceived organizational support on pharmaceutical employees' retention. The study method used is quantitative cross-sectional. Convenience Sampling was used with 400 employees from private pharmaceutical companies, each with a minimum period of 6 months. Data were collected through three instruments: Employees Retention Questionnaire, Surveys of Perceived Organizational Support, and Employees Engagement Scale. This study provides insights into the importance of perceived organizational support and employee retention in enhancing employee engagement, thereby enabling companies to retain talented employees in the pharmaceutical industry.
