Abstract

Rancang Bangun Alat Praktikum Sifat Lensa pada Praktikum Fisika Dasar II. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Juli 2024. Rancang bangun alat sifat lensa pada penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Pada tahap Pendefinisian, dilakukan analisis kebutuhan dengan maksud mengidentifikasi kebutuhan mahasiswa dan pranata laboratorium pendidikan untuk rencana pengembangan alat. Pada tahap Perancangan, penelitian ini menghasilkan gambar rancangan tekhnik alat praktikum yang mencakup bagian-bagian alat, instrumen uji kelayakan dan uji coba pengguna. Pada tahap Pengembangan, dilakukan pembuatan produk alat praktikum, uji kelayakan oleh ahli dan uji coba pengguna, serta evaluasi dan revisi. Kemudian ditutup dengan tahap Penyebaran, yaitu memberikan alat praktikum sifat lensa ke laboratorium Fisika Dasar Universitas Negeri Jakarta untuk digunakan dalam praktikum Fisika Dasar II. Hasil uji skala laboratorium mendapatkan hasil jarak fokus lensa serta membuktikan hubungan antara perbandingan terbalik dari jarak objek ke lensa dan jarak lensa ke layar. Selanjutnya, hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli menunjukkan bahwa alat praktikum dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan dalam praktikum, dan hasil uji coba pengguna menyatakan bahwa alat praktikum sangat baik. Oleh karena itu, alat praktikum sifat lensa yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan dapat digunakan dalam praktikum Fisika Dasar II. (******) Design of Laboratory Equipment for Lens Properties in Basic Physics II Laboratory. Thesis, Physics Education Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. July 2024. The design of the lens properties apparatus in this research utilizes the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). In the Definition stage, needs analysis is conducted to identify the requirements of students and educational laboratory practitioners for the equipment development plan. In the Design stage, the research produces technical drawings of the laboratory apparatus, including its components, feasibility testing instruments, and user trials. During the Development stage, the practical apparatus is manufactured, assessed for feasibility by experts, subjected to user trials, and evaluated and revised accordingly. The process concludes with the Dissemination stage, where the lens properties apparatus is provided to the Basic Physics laboratory at Universitas Negeri Jakarta for use in Basic Physics II experiments. Laboratory-scale testing results in the determination of lens focal lengths and validation of the inverse relationship between object distance to lens and lens distance to screen. Furthermore, expert feasibility testing confirms the apparatus is highly suitebel for laboratory use, while user trials indicate excellent performance. Therefore, the lens properties apparatus developed meets the necessary requirements and is suitebel for use in Basic Physics II experiments.
