Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Academic burnout dan dukungan sosial terhadap kualitas hidup mahasiswa rantau di pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan melakukan analisis regresi berganda. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah partisipan sebesar 252 responden dengan kriteria Usia 18 – 25 tahun, mahasiswa aktif D3, D4/S1, dan S2, Sedang melakukan perantauan dari luar pulau Jawa ke pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 alat ukur yakni School burnout inventory (SBI) sebanyak 9 item untuk mengukur academic burnout, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) sebanyak 12 item untuk mengukur dukungan sosial, dan kualitas hidup Indonesia (KHI) sebanyak 30 item untuk mengukur kualitas hidup. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai sig. 0.00, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara academic burnout dan dukungan sosial terhadap kualitas hidup mahasiswa rantau. Besaran pengaruh yang diberikan oleh academic burnout dan dukungan sosial sebesar 0.276 atau 27.6%. hasil lain juga didapatkan secara parsial yaitu academic burnout berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap kualitas hidup dengan sumbangan 13.4% dan dukungan sosial mempengaruhi kualitas hidup secara positif dengan sumbagan sebesar 14.2%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara academic burnout dan dukungan sosial terhadap kualitas hidup mahasiswa rantau di Pulau Jawa. ***** This research aims to determine the effect of academic burnout and social support on the quality of life of overseas students on the island of Java. This research uses quantitative research methods by conducting multiple regression analysis. Sampling used an accidental sampling technique with a total of 252 participants with criteria of age 18 – 25 years, active D3, D4/S1 and S2 students, currently migrating from outside Java to Java. This research uses 3 measuring tools, namely the Shchool burnout inventory (SBI) with 9 items to measure academic burnout, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) with 12 items to measure social support, and the Indonesian quality of life (KHI) with 30 items to measure quality of life. The results of this research show a sig value. 0.00, meaning that there is a significant influence between academic burnout and social support on the quality of life of overseas students. The magnitude of the influence exerted by academic burnout and social support is 0.276 or 27.6%. Other results were also obtained partially, namely academic burnout had a negative effect on quality of life with a contribution of 13.4% and social support had a positive effect on quality of life with a contribution of 14.2%. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence between academic burnout and social support on the quality of life of overseas students on the island of Java.
