Abstract

Tahapan perkembangan dewasa awal, yaitu pembentukan keintiman. Hubungan berpacaran yang dilakukan dewasa awal dianggap lebih serius karena keintiman yang dibangun dengan berpacaran merupakan salah satu bentuk yang dapat dilakukan untuk mempersiapkan hubungan lebih serius seperti pernikahamn di kemudian harinya. Sehingga dibutuhkannya pembentukan komitmen dalam hubungan tersebut. Sedangkan dalam pemenuhan komitmen dibutuhkan juga Self disclosure dan interpersonal trust guna menjaga keberlangsungan hubungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan interpersonal trust dan self-disclosure dengan komitmen berpasangan jarak jauh. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah 209 pasangan jarak jauh usia dewasa awal dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengukuran menggunakan alat ukur psikologi, yaitu trust scale, Revised Self Disclosure Scale (RSDS), dan The Investment Model Scale yang telah dimodifikasi. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara interpersonal trust dan self-disclosure dengan komitmen berpasangan jarak jauh. ***** Stages of early adult development is establish of intimacy. Dating relationships in early adulthood are considered more serious because the intimacy built through dating is one form that can be taken to prepare for a more serious relationship such as marriage. So it is necessary to form commitment in the relationship. Meanwhile, fulfilling commitments also requires self-disclosure and interpersonal trust to maintain the continuity of the relationship. This research aims to look at the relationship between interpersonal trust and self-disclosure with commitment in long-distance couples. The respondents in this study were 209 long-distance couples in early adulthood using a purposive sampling method. The measurements used psychological measuring instruments, such as trust scale, Revised Self Disclosure Scale (RSDS), and Investment Model Scale. In this study, it was found that there was a significant relationship between interpersonal trust and self-disclosure and long-distance partner commitment.
