Abstract

Kata Kunci: Alat Berat, Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane (RTG), Fishbone Diagram ********** Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane (RTG) heavy equipment is a crucial tool in container loading and unloading operations at ports, influencing logistics efficiency and reliability. Damage to an RTG can result in high maintenance costs, operational downtime, and reduced productivity. This research aims to analyze damage factors in 5 (five) RTGs operating at PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (LAP 107) using the fishbone diagram method. The fishbone diagram method is used with the aim of identifying factors causing damage which consist of 6 categories, namely machines, methods, materials, humans, measurements and environment. The research results show that the machine category has the greatest impact on RTG damage at PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (LAP 107) with a number of main causes affecting this machine category. The suggestions or suggestions for damage factors to RTG equipment at PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (LAP 107) include regularly turning on machine performance using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method, diagnosing new damage based on old damage to RTG equipment by applying Case Based Reasoing (CBR) and carrying out a Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approach for risk management for RTG components.
