Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi omoiyari dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan omoiyari dalam anime Kagami no Kojou. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi dari kecenderungan orang Jepang untuk mengungkapkan suatu gagasan secara tidak langsung, sehingga membuat lawan bicara perlu memiliki sifat kepekaan yang tinggi atau omoiyari untuk memahami maksud dari tuturan lawan bicara. Sehingga sebagai pembelajar bahasa asing penting untuk mengetahui konsep omoiyari yang melekat erat dengan masyarakat Jepang. Data dengan total 22 diambil dari media film animasi berjudul Kagami no Kojou dengan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Setelah dikumpulkan, data dianalisis peristiwa tuturnya menggunakan metode SPEAKING Dell Hymes. Kemudian menganalisis dan mengklasifikasikan fungsi omoiyari berdasarkan teori Lebra dan menentukan faktor-faktor yang mendasari penggunaan omoiyari. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari 22 data, ditemukan enam jenis fungsi omoiyari yaitu 4 data merupakan fungsi pemelihara kesepakatan, 9 data merupakan fungsi optimalisasi kenyamanan, 2 data merupakan fungsi kerentanan sentimental, 3 data merupakan fungsi timbal balik sosial, 2 data merupakan fungsi komunikasi intuitif, dan 4 data merupakan fungsi rasa bersalah. Sementara faktor-faktor yang mendasari penggunaan omoiyari adalah faktor usia, gender, situasi dan keanggotaan. Kata kunci: omoiyari, anime, SPEAKING, sosiopragmatik. **** This study aims to determine the function of omoiyari and the factors that influence its use in the anime Kagami no Kojou. This is motivated by the tendency of Japanese people to express ideas indirectly, so the interlocutor needs to have high sensitivity or omoiyari to understand the meaning of the interlocutor's speech. So as a foreign language learner, it is important to know the concept of omoiyari which is closely embedded in Japanese society. A total of 22 data were taken from the animated film entitled Kagami no Kojou. This study was analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. After collecting the data, the speech events were analyzed using Dell Hymes' SPEAKING method. Then analyze and classify the function of omoiyari based on Lebra's theory and determine the factors underlying the use of omoiyari. Based on the results of the analysis of 22 data, six functions of omoiyari were found, namely 4 data were maintaining of consensus functions, 9 data were the optimization of alter's comfort functions, 2 data were sentimental vulnerability functions, 3 data were the social echo effect, 2 data were intuitive communication functions, and 4 data is a function of guilt. Meanwhile, the factors underlying the use of omoiyari are age, gender, situation and groups. Keywords: omoiyari, anime, SPEAKING, sosiopragmatics.
