Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan keluarga, pengembangan karir dan motivasi meraih gelar terhadap minat mengikuti pendidikan profesi akuntansi (PPAk). Pada penelitian ini, jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian survei eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen penelitian dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas yang menyelenggarakan Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi yaitu Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Trisakti, dan Universitas Tarumanagara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasisa S1 akuntansi dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 110 mahasiswa, serta teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis jalur dengan aplikasi SPSS 25. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga, pengembangan karir, dan motivasi meraih gelar berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mengikuti Pendidikan profesi akuntansi. Hal ini berarti lingkungan keluarga, pengembangan karir, dan motivasi meraih gelar merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil peneilitian adalah menambah variabel lain untuk melihat faktor-faktor lain terhadp minat mahasiswa mengikuti Pendidikan profesi Akuntansi, dan menambah sampel penelitian. ***** This research aims to determine the influence of family environment, career development, and degree motivation on interest in pursuing professional accounting education (PPAk). The type of this research is explanatory survey research with a quantitative approach. Data was collected through research instruments using questionnaires. This research was conducted at universities that provide professional accounting education, namely the University of Indonesia, Trisakti University, and Tarumanagara University. The population in this study were accounting undergraduate students with a sample size of 110 students, and the sampling technique used was convenience sampling. This research uses the path analysis method with the SPSS 25 application. The results of the research show that family environment, career development, and degree motivation have a positive influence on interest in pursuing professional accounting education. This means that family environment, career development, and degree motivation are factors that influence students' interest in taking professional accounting education. Recommendations for future researchers based on the research results are to add other variables to look at other factors regarding students' interest in taking professional accounting education, and to increase the research sample.
