Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap proses sains peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada peserta didik kelas V di SDN Kalideres 07 Pagi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 60 peserta didik yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes proses sains dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t, diperoleh dengan hasil t_hitung (1,672) > t_tabel (1,086) dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05, sehingga H_0 ditolak dan H_1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model project based learning terhadap proses sains pada pembelajaran IPAS peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Untuk itu, model project based learning dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan proses sains peserta didik. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the science process of fifth grade elementary school students. This study was conducted on fifth grade students at SDN Kalideres 07 Pagi. The research method used was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling in this study used the cluster random sampling technique. The sample in this study was 60 students divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection was carried out using a science process skills test instrumen in the form of multiple choices. The data analysis technique used the t-test, obtained with the results of t_count (1.672) > t_table (1.086) with a significance level of α = 0.05, so that H_0 was rejected and H_1 was accepted. This shows that there is an effect of using the project based learning model on the science process in science learning for fifth grade elementary school students. For this reason, the project based learning model can be used as an alternative learning method in improving students' science processes.
