Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas V SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah wawancara, observasi, catatan lapangan, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yaitu secara deskriptif diambil dari nilai tes kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa dan observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) yang disajikan dalam bentuk persentase keberhasilan siswa dan guru. Pada hasil tes pra-penelitian kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa hanya sebanyak 28,1% siswa yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran ilmiah sangat baik. Pada siklus I meningkat sebanyak 25% menjadi 53,1%, karena belum sesuai dengan target keberhasilan yaitu sebesar 80% maka penelitian tindakan kelas dilajutkan di siklus II. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 28,3% sehingga terdapat 84,4% siswa kelas V SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi memiliki kemampuan penalaran ilmiah dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarka hasil penelitian disimpulkan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) bisa meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa kelas V SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi Jakarta Timur. ***** This study aims to improve student’s scientific reasoning ability through cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) in science learning class V SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi. This research used Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The data collection instruments used were interviews, observations, field notes, and tests. The data analysis technique is descriptively taken from the test scores of student’s scientific reasoning abilities and observations of teacher and student activities in cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) which is presented in the form of a percentage of student and teacher success. In the pre-research test results of student’s scientific reasoning abilities, only 28.1% of students had very good scientific reasoning abilities. In cycle I, it increased by 25% to 53.1%, because it was not in accordance with the success target of 80%, the class action research was continued in cycle II. In cycle II there was an increase of 28.3% so that 84.4% of fifth grade students of SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi had very good scientific reasoning skills. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the use of cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can improve the scientific reasoning ability of fifth grade students of SDN Ciracas 11 Pagi East Jakarta.
