Abstract
Keterampilan menulis merupakan bagian dari kemampuan berpikir siswa dalam menyampaikan gagasannya ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Keterampilan menulis tidak bisa didapatkan tanpa pembelajaran yang tepat. Menciptakan model yang dikhususkan bagi siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah merupakan tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini. Model pembelajaran berbasis berlo’s communication model dikemas dengan berbagai modifikasi teori ahli yang mendukung proses pembelajaran di kelas. Pengembangan desain model penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design Based Research (DBR). Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini melalui instrument, yaitu 1) instrumen analisis kebutuhan melalui survey, 2) instrument uji validitas ahli, 3) instrument uji efektivitas, 4) lembar wawancara, 5) tes keterampilan menulis dongeng. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara dianalisis secara kualitatif dan lainnya dianalisis menggunakan bantuan SPSS. Data yang dihasilkan berupa hasil survey, dokumen, hasil wawancara, nilai keterampilan menulis siswa, hasil validitas ahli. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model pembelajaran berbasis berlo’s communication model yang dilengkapi dengan buku panduan untuk guru. Model pembelajaran ini telah diujicobakan di tiga Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) di kota Cirebon, yaitu MI Salafiyatul Huda 1, MI Al-Hidayah GUPPI, MI Al-Washliyah Perbutulan. Hasil uji coba di ketiga Madrasah tersebut dinyatakan efektif. Uji efektivitas terlihat perbedaan rerata yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai sig. 0,001 (p < 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis berlo’s communication model yang diujicobakan pada tiga madrsahan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dongeng siswa. ***** Writing skills are a part of students' thinking abilities in expressing their ideas in written form. Writing skills cannot be acquired without appropriate instruction. The aim of this research is to create a model specifically designed for students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). The instructional model, based on Berlo’s Communication Model, is packaged with various modifications of expert theories that support classroom learning processes. The development of this research model uses the Design-Based Research (DBR) method. The data obtained in this research through instruments include: 1) a needs analysis instrument via survey, 2) expert validity testing instruments, 3) effectiveness testing instruments, 4) interview sheets, and 5) a fairy tale writing skills test. Data obtained from observations and interviews were analyzed qualitatively, while other data were analyzed using SPSS. The data produced includes survey results, documents, interview results, student writing skills scores, and expert validity results. This research resulted in an instructional model based on Berlo’s Communication Model, complete with a teacher’s guidebook. This model has been tested in three Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Cirebon: MI Salafiyatul Huda 1, MI Al-Hidayah GUPPI, and MI Al-Washliyah Perbutulan. The results of the trial at these three MIs were found to be effective. The effectiveness test showed a significant difference in averages. Based on the Wilcoxon test results, a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05) was obtained. It can be concluded that the Berlo’s Communication Model-based instructional model tested in the three madrasahs is effective in improving students’ fairy tale writing skills.
