Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis wacana kritis model Teun A. Van Dijk pada berita harian penanganan Covid-19 kompas.com serta implikasinya dalam pembelajaran teks editorial kelas XII SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi, yaitu mendeskripsikan struktur teks pada berita penanganan Covid-19 kompas.com. Hasil penelitian yang dapat diketahui yaitu dari 5 data teks berita terdapat 155 struktur analisis wacana kritis dalam 30 paragraf. Dari 155 data struktur analisis wacana kritis teks editorial ditemukan 5 data (3,2%) makrostruktur dan 5 data (3,2%) superstruktur. Sedangkan mikrostruktur yang paling sering muncul yaitu bentuk kalimat sebanyak 30 data (19,3%), diikuti detil sebanyak 22 data (14,1%), selanjutnya koherensi kondisional sebanyak 21 data (13,5%), koherensi fungsional sebanyak 15 data (9,6%), leksikon sebanyak 15 data (9,6%), kata ganti sebanyak 14 data (9,0%), maksud sebanyak 12 data (7,7%), latar sebanyak 9 data (5,8%), praanggapan sebanyak 4 data (2,5%) dan metafora sebanyak 4 data (2,5%). *********************************************************** This study aims to describe the critical discourse analysis model of Teun A. Van Dijk on the daily news handling of Covid-19 kompas.com and its implications for teaching editorial texts for class XII SMA. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques, namely describing the structure of the text on the news on Kompas.com's handling of Covid-19. The results of the research that from the 5 data, there are 155 structures of critical discourse analysis of editorial texts in 30 paragraphs. Of the 155 structural data of critical discourse analysis of editorial texts, 5 data (3.2%) were macrostructured and 5 data (3.2%) were superstructured. While the microstructure that appears most often is sentence form with 30 data (19.3%), followed by details with 22 data (14.1%), then conditional coherence with 21 data (13.5%), functional coherence with 15 data (9.6%), lexicon 15 data (9.6%), pronouns 14 data (9.0%), meaning 12 data (7.7%), background 9 data (5.8%), presupposition with 4 data (2.5%) and metaphor with 4 data (2.5%).
