Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan, sedangkan pengembangan karir dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sebaliknya, gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja sebagai mediasi, tetapi pengembangan karir, dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan rumah sakit. ********************************** This research was conducted to know the factors that can improve employee performance. It applied a survey method. The results of the study show that leadership style has no effect on the employees’ work motivation, while career development and leadership style have a positive effect on the performance. In contrast, leadership style does not have a positive effect on performance through work motivation as mediation, but career development, with work motivation as a mediating variable, has a positive effect on performance for hospital employees.
