Abstract

Peserta didik paket C di PKBM 32 Jakarta mengalami ketidaksiapan memasuki dunia kerja di ujung masa pendidikan mereka. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan untuk peserta didik paket C di PKBM 32 Jakarta untuk mempersiapkan diri memasuki dunia kerja, meliputi pencarian lowongan kerja, pembuatan curriculum vitae, dan persiapan wawancara. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam 4 sesi pada bulan April yang diikuti oleh 13 peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pelatihan persiapan kerja dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta didik paket C di PKBM 32 Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari 13 informan yang menjadi peserta pelatihan. Data yang diperoleh peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik paket C di PKBM 32 Jakarta, mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan terhadap proses persiapan kerja mengenai pencarian lowongan kerja, pemahaman tentang curriculum vitae, pembuatan curriculum vitae, dan proses wawancara setelah mendapatkan pelatihan yang efektif dan disesuaikan dengan konsep pendidikan andragogi. Selain itu kegiatan pelatihan ini mendapatkan penilaian positif dari peserta pelatihan pada aspek pemateri, materi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kebermanfaatan kegiatan Peserta didik berharap pelatihan tersebut bisa rutin dilakukan di PKBM 32 Jakarta Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, Persiapan Kerja, PKBM *** Paket C students at PKBM 32 Jakarta often face challenges in transitioning to the workforce at the end of their studies. Therefore, a job readiness training program was implemented for Paket C students at PKBM 32 Jakarta. This training covered topics including job searching, curriculum vitae writing, and interview preparation. The program was held in four sessions during the month of April and was attended by 13 students. This research aims to explore and describe the effectiveness of the job readiness training in improving the skills and abilities of Paket C students at PKBM 32 Jakarta. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with a description approach. The research data was obtained from 13 informants who participated in the training. The data obtained by methods included observation, interviews, and document analysis. The analysis used is data collection, reduction, display, and verification or conclusion drawing. The results revealed that Paket C students at PKBM 32 Jakarta experienced an improved understanding and skills related to job readiness processes, such as job searching, curriculum vitae writing, and interview process after receiving effective training and adapted to the concept of andragogi education. Furthermore, the training program received positive feedback from participants regarding the trainers, the relevance of the materials, and the overall usefulness of the program. Participants hoping that this event can be conducted regularly at PKBM 32 Jakarta.
