Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi profesi guru, pendapatan orang tua, motivasi menjadi guru, dan minat mengikuti pendidikan profesi guru (PPG). Penelitian dilakukan selama 10 (sepuluh) bulan dimulai dari bulan Maret 2021 hingga Desember 2021. Metode penelitian secara kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu eksplanatori. Teknik Sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling yang berjumlah 150 mahasiswa kependidikan Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Analisis data menggunakan SEM-PLS dengan alat hitung SmartPLS 3.0. Data pada variabel persepsi profesi guru (X1), pendapatan orang tua (X2), motivasi menjadi guru (Z) dan minat mengikuti pendidikan profesi guru (Y) merupakan data primer dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi profesi guru memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat mengikuti PPG), pendapatan orang tua tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat mengikuti PPG, motivasi menjadi guru memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat mengikuti PPG, persepsi profesi guru memiliki pengaruh terhadapt motivasi menjadi guru, pendapatan orang tua memiliki pengaruh terhadap motivasi menjadi guru, persepsi profesi guru memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat mengikuti PPG melalui motivasi menjadi guru sebagai variabel mediasi. pendapatan orang tua memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat mengikuti PPG melalui motivasi menjadi guru sebagai variabel mediasi. ************************************************** This study aims to determine the effect of perceptions of the teaching profession, parents' income, motivation to become a teacher, and interest in following teacher professional education. The research was conducted for 10 (ten) months starting from March 2021 to December 2021. The research method was quantitative with the type of research that was explanatory. The sample technique used a purposive sampling method, with 150 students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. Data analysis used questionnaire and processing with program SmartPLS 3.0. The data on the variable perception of the teaching profession (X1), parents' income (X2), motivation to become a teacher (Z) and interest in attending teacher professional education (Y) are primary data using a Likert scale. The results showed that the perception of the teaching profession had an influence on interest in following teaching professional education, parents' income had no effect on interest in following teaching professional education, motivation to become a teacher had an influence on interest in following teaching professional education, the perception of the teaching profession had an influence on motivation to become a teacher. , parental income has an influence on motivation to become a teacher, the perception of the teaching profession has an influence on interest in following teacher professional education through motivation to become a teacher as a mediating variable. Parent's income has an influence on interest in following teacher professional education through motivation to become a teacher as a mediating variable.
