Abstract

Di museum, perencanaan Storyline dan Tata Pamer sangat berpengaruh terhadap persepsi serta daya tangkap pengunjung terhadap informasi yang museum sajikan. Dengan adanya storyline dan tata pamer yang baik, akan mempermudah pengunjung untuk memahami dan mengerti maksud dari pameran secara keseluruhan. Penulisan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan storyline dan tata pamer di Museum Sejarah Jakarta, dalam menyajikan tata pamer koleksinya. Tugas Akhir ini disusun dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif, di mana data yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara, observasi, studi literasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa deskripsi narasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, storyline penyajian koleksi yang diterapkan di Museum Sejarah Jakarta menggunakan pendekatan kronologis, yaitu menekankan kepada koleksi secara berurut dan linear dari fase awal hingga akhir. Sedangkan Tata pamer yang digunakan Museum Sejarah Jakarta menekankan pada metode intelektual dengan menyajikan koleksi museum yang dilengkapi informasi berupa papan narasi yang berisikan penjelasan mengenai fungsi koleksi, kegunaan koleksi, arti dari benda koleksi. ********************************************* In the museum, the planning of Storylines and Exhibition Arrangement are greatly influence the perception and comprehension of visitors to the information that the museum presents. With a good storyline and exhibition system, it will be easier for visitors to figure out and understand the purpose of the exhibition as a whole. The purpose of writing this final project is to find out how to plan the storyline and exhibition arrangement at the Jakarta History Museum, in presenting the collection display system. This final project was prepared using descriptive qualitative method in which the data obtained were based on the results of interviews, observations, literacy studies, and documentation. The results of this study are in the form of narrative descriptions. Based on the research results, the storyline of the collection presentation applied at the Jakarta History Museum uses a chronological approach, which emphasizes the collection sequentially and linearly from the beginning to the end. Meanwhile, the exhibition arrangement used by the Jakarta History Museum emphasizes the intellectual method by presenting museum collections that are equipped with information in the form of a narrative board containing an explanation of the function of the collection, the use of the collection, and the meaning of the collection objects.
