Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of using Pop-Up Books on improving writing skills in Indonesian lessons in elementary schools. This study uses a metaanalysis method. This research begins with formulating the topic to be studied, then formulating the problem, then collecting relevant article data for processing. The data was obtained from online journal searches through Google Scholar. The keywords used are "pop-up book media" and "elementary school students' writing skills". From the search results there are 9 articles. The data obtained were re-analyzed using quantitative methods. Based on the results of the analysis of the use of the Pop-Up Book media, it can be proven that the average students' writing skills before using the effect amounted to 2.8, increasing to 3.43 the effect size for the large category of the experimental class.
