Abstract
Mikroplastik menjadi tantangan baru dalam masalah pencemaran lingkungan saat ini. Teluk Jakarta sebagai perairan yang berbatasan langsung dengan Ibukota turut terkontaminasi mikroplastik yang masuk melalui aliran muara-muara sungai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola lintasan partikel mikroplastik di perairan Teluk Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan simulasi model hidrodinamika dan model particle tracking menggunakan MIKE 21. Simulasi model dilakukan selama satu bulan pada bulan Mei 2021. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas data debit sungai tujuh muara, data garis pantai, data batimetri, data pasang surut, data angin dan data berat mikroplastik. Simulasi model hidrodinamika menunjukkan Teluk Jakarta merupakan perairan dangkal dengan lereng terdalam mencapai 32 meter dan lereng terdangkal <2 meter. Tipe pasang surut di perairan Teluk Jakarta adalah pasang surut harian tunggal (diurnal tide) dengan nilai bilangan Formzahl sebesar 4,8. Arus yang mendominasi di perairan Teluk Jakarta merupakan arus pasang surut. Simulasi model hidrodinamika menunjukkan jika rata-rata kecepatan arus berkisar antara 0 m/s hingga 0,225 m/s. Secara umum, partikel mikroplastik mengalami perpindahan dominan ke arah barat laut. Sehingga partikel mikroplastik akan terakumulasi di sekitar pulau reklamasi dan pulau-pulau terdekat seperti Pulau Bidadari dan Pulau Onrust. *************************************** Microplastics are a new challenge in the current environmental pollution problem. Jakarta Bay as waters directly adjacent to the capital city is also contaminated with microplastics that enter through river estuaries. This study aims to determine the trajectory pattern of microplastic particles in the waters of Jakarta Bay, DKI Jakarta. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis with a hydrodynamic model simulation approach and particle tracking model using MIKE 21. The model simulation was carried out for one month in May 2021. The data used in this study consisted of seven estuary river discharge data, shoreline data , bathymetry data, tidal data, wind data and microplastic weight data. The hydrodynamic model simulation shows that Jakarta Bay is shallow waters with the deepest slopes reaching 32 meters and the shallowest slopes <2 meters. The tidal type in the waters of Jakarta Bay is a single daily tide (diurnal tide) with a Formzahl number of 4.8. The currents that dominate in the waters of Jakarta Bay are tidal currents. The hydrodynamic model simulation shows that the average current velocity ranges from 0 m/s to 0.225 m/s. In general, microplastic particles experienced a dominant displacement to the northwest. So that microplastic particles will accumulate around the reclamation island and nearby islands such as Bidadari Island and Onrust Island.
