Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 hingga kini masih terus berlanjut. Sensor ultrasonik memiliki kesalahan relatif 1.15%. The Covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing. However, economic activities, education and essential sector offices must continue to run in order to keep the wheels of the economy running. With the legal enforcement of Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM), public places are still open but by implementing health protocols. One of the health protocols that are treated is checking body temperature and limiting users in a room. Therefore, in this study, an automatic door controller design was developed based on body temperature and room capacity based on sensors and microcontrollers as a step to support government policies in overcoming the spread of COVID-19. In this study, 3 tools were developed, namely tool 1, tool 2 and tool 3. Tool 1 serves as the center of the system consisting of the MLX 90614-DCI temperature sensor, passive infrared sensor, ultrasonic sensor, TFT screen and relay. Tool 2 functions as a counter for the number of visitors and opens the door for visitors who leave the room, which consists of a passive infrared sensor and an active infrared sensor. Tool 3 is an automatic door opening and closing device that has been circulating in the community. The research method used is the experimental and development method. To determine the working range of the sensor, sensor characterization was carried out. The results of the characterization of the body temperature sensor show the farthest optimal distance of 16 cm and a relative error of 0.46%. The active infrared sensor detects at an optimal distance of 3.5 cm white, 0.5 cm black, 2.0 cm human hand. Two passive infrared sensors are used which produce the same optimal distance, which is 4 m. The ultrasonic sensor has a relative error of 1.15%. The overall testing of the equipment was carried out in four cases, in cases 1 to 4 the equipment was functioning properly, namely the temperature of the visitors could be measured, the door mechanism opened, and the visitor counter according to its original condition. From the testing of the tool, it shows that the developed tool functions well.
