Abstract
Barium heksaferit (BaFe12O19) merupakan material magnet permanen yang mengandung besi oksida dapat digunakan sebagai material penyerap frekuensi radar. Telah dilakukan sintesis serbuk Fe3O4/SiO2/Ba0,6Ca0,4Fe12O19 dengan penambahan komposisi 0%, 50%, 60%, dan 70% menggunakan metode reaksi zat padat sebagai material penyerap gelombang radar dalam frekuensi X-band (8,2 – 12,4 GHz) dengan waktu milling 1 jam dan 20 jam yang dikarakterisasi menggunakan XRD, permagraph, dan VNA. Hasil analisis XRD menunjukkan identifikasi fasa didominasi oleh fasa barium ferit. Sifat magnetik dengan Permagraph menunjukkan sifat feromagnetik dengan karakteristik material magnet keras memiliki nilai medan koersivitas yang semakin meningkat, nilai magnetisasi saturasi dan remanensi yang semakin menurun. Hasil analisis VNA memiliki nilai paling optimum sebagai penyerap radar yaitu pada material magnet komposit Fe3O4/SiO2/Ba0,6Ca0,4Fe12O19 pada komposisi 60% berupa bandwith efektif (<-10 dB) sebesar 1,871 GHz pada frekuensi 8,2-10,071 GHz, reflection loss (RL) sebesar -28,87 dengan daya serap 99,870% pada frekuensi 9,376 GHz terdapat waktu milling selama 1 jam. ******************************************** Barium hexaferrite (BaFe12O19) is a permanent magnet material containing iron oxide which can be used as a radar wave absorbing material. Fabrication of powder Fe3O4/SiO2/Ba0,6Ca0,4Fe12O19 with the addition of composite in a ratio of 0%, 50%, 60%, and 70% used the solid state reaction method as a radar frequency absorbing material in the X-band frequency (8.2 – 12.4 GHz) with a milling time of 1 hour and 20 hours which was characterized using XRD, permagraph, and VNA. The results of XRD analysis showed that the phase identification was dominated by the barium ferrite phase. Magnetic properties with Permagraphs show ferromagnetic properties with the characteristics of hard magnetic materials having increasing coercivity field values, decreasing saturation magnetization and remanence values. The results of the VNA analysis have the most optimum value as a radar absorber, the composite magnetic material Fe3O4/SiO2/Ba0,6Ca0,4Fe12O19 at 60% in the form of an effective bandwidth (<-10 dB) of 1.871 GHz at a frequency 8.2-10.071 GHz, reflection loss (RL) of -28.87 with absorption of 99.870% at a frequency of 9.376 GHz there is a milling time of 1 hour.
