Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan model pembelajaran Edu SMART berorientasi Hots pada materi kimia, menganalisis kelayakan model serta efektivitas penerapannya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development dari Borg and Gall mengikuti tahapan model desain pembelajaran Dick and Carey. Pada tahapan awal studi pendahuluan dari Borg & Gall dan pada tahap pengembangan produk ditambahkan model desain Hannafin and Peck, dikarenakan model ini berorientasi pada produk, cocok untuk mengembangkan produk yang bersifat elektronik maupun cetak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, wawancara, dan tes. Menggunakan desain penelitian pretest-posttest untuk menilai kemampuan awal dan akhir peserta didik. Uji t dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model yang dikembangkan. Model pembelajaran yang dihasilkan terdiri dari 5 sintak yaitu Share & Accesible, Measurable, Apply, Reorientation, Time to Reflection kemudian diberinama Edu SMART. Perolehan hasil rata-rata validasi dari ahli instruksional pembelajaran sebesar 91,3 %, ahli media sebesar 89,5 %, ahli materi sebesar 89,7 %, one to one sebesar 89 %, dari uji small group sebesar 91,6% dari field trial sebesar 90,2%. Berdasarkan hasil validasi instrumen evaluasi formatif menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Edu SMART berorientasi HOST pada materi kimia Layak untuk diterapkan pada mata pelajaran kimia materi asam basa. Hasil penelitian juga mengungkapkan efektivitas model pembelajaran, diperoleh nilai rata-rata pada pretest sebesar 75,57 sedangkan pada postes diperoleh nilai 90,57 terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan posttest pretest sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar. Nilai N gain dihitung dengan kenaikan rata-rata pretes dan postes sebesar 0,58 yang berarti efektif. Simpulannya bahwa model pembelajaran Edu SMART yang memiliki 5 sintak layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Edu SMART, Asam basa, Hasil Belajar ********** This study aims to develop and produce a Hots-oriented Edu SMART learning model on chemistry material, analyze the feasibility of the model and the effectiveness of its application. The method used is Research and Development from Borg and Gall following the stages of the Dick and Carey learning design model. In the early stages of the preliminary study from Borg & Gall and the product development stage, the Hannafin and Peck design model was added, because this model is product-oriented, suitable for developing electronic and printed products. Data collection was carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. Using a pretest-posttest research design to assess the initial and final abilities of students. The t-test was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the model developed. The resulting learning model consists of 5 syntaxes, namely Share & Accessible, Measurable, Apply, Reorientation, Time to Reflection, then named Edu SMART. The average validation results from instructional learning experts were 91.3%, media experts were 89.5%, material experts were 89.7%, one to one was 89%, from small group tests was 91.6% from field trials was 90.2%. Based on the results of the validation of the formative evaluation instrument, it showed that the Edu SMART learning model oriented to HOST on chemical material was feasible to be applied to the chemistry subject of acid-base material. The results of the study also revealed the effectiveness of the learning model, the average value obtained in the pretest was 75.57 while in the posttest the value obtained was 90.57 there was a significant increase in posttest pretest of 0.000 <0.05 meaning there was a difference in the average learning outcomes. The N gain value is calculated by the average increase in pretest and posttest of 0.58 which means effective. The conclusion is that the Edu SMART learning model which has 5 syntaxes is feasible and effective to be used in chemistry learning. Keywords: Learning Model, Edu SMART, Acid-base, Learning Outcomes
