Abstract
Barium heksaferit merupakan material yang dapat dijadikan penyerap gelombang radar karena memiliki sifat magnetik dan sifat dielektrik yang baik pada frekuensi gelombang mikro. Pada penelitian ini, dikembangkan tentang pembuatan material magnet BaFe12-2xAlxTixO19 (x = 0.0; 0.1; 0.2; 0.3; 0.4) berstruktur Kristal nanometer untuk aplikasi penyerap frekuensi radar dengan rentang frekuensi 8.2 - 12.4 GHz (X-Band). Pembuatan material BaFe12-2xAlxTixO19 menggunakan metode reaksi zat padat. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dihasilkan material yang terbentuk yaitu barium heksaferit (ruang P63/mmc) dengan struktur hexagonal. Sifat magnetik dari material BaFe12-2xAlxTixO19, yaitu terdapat perubahan pada nilai Magnetisasi Remanensi (Mr) dan Magnetisasi Saturasi (Ms) karena subtitusi ion Al dan Ti pada barium heksaferit. Koersivitas (Hc) menurun seiring bertambahnya komposisi ion Al dan Ti (nilai x). Pada sifat penyerap gelombang mikro material BaFe12-2xAlxTixO19, dihasilkan Reflection Loss (RL) optimum saat x = 0.4 (milling 50 jam) yaitu sebesar -16.674 dB dengan bandwidth Efektif (< -10 dB) sebesar 1.312 GHz. Presentase penyerapan material terhadap gelombang radar menunjukan 97.849% gelombang yang dipancarkan diserap oleh material sebesar 49.404% dan di transmisikan, sepanjang bandwith 1.312 GHz (< -10 dB) dengan rentang frekuensi 8.2-12.4 GHz. *********************************************************** Barium hexaferrite is a suitable material for radar absorption, as good magnetic and dielectric properties at microwave frequencies. In this research, the manufacture of BaFe12-2xAlxTixO19 (x = 0.0; 0.1; 0.2; 0.3; 0.4) magnetic material with nanometer crystal structure was developed for the application of radar frequency absorbers with frequency range of 8.2–12.4 GHz (X-band). Synthesis of barium hexaferrite prepared by Solid State Reaction (SSR) method. Based on the research, the resulting material is barium hexaferrite (space group P63/mmc) with hexagonal structure. The magnetic properties of BaFe12-2xAlxTixO19, there is a change in the value of Remanence Magnetization (Mr) and Saturation Magnetization (Ms) due to the substitution of Al and Ti ions in barium hexaferrite. Coercivity (Hc) decreases with increasing composition of Al and Ti ion (x value). The miscrowave absorbing properties of BaFe12-2xAlxTixO19, The optimum Reflection Loss (RL) at x = 0.4 (milling time 50 hours) is -16,674 dB with an effective bandwidth (< -10 dB) of 1.312 GHz. The percentage of material absorption on radar waves shows that 97.849% of the emitted waves are absorbed by the material by 49.404% and transmitted, along a bandwidth of 1.312 GHz (< -10 dB) with a frequency range of 8.2-12.4 GHz.
