Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan siswa berdasarkan matematisasi dan mengetahui keterkaitan kesalahan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika level PISA berdasarkan konteks dan tipe soal Aljabar yang diberikan pada tiap level. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kasus sebagai pendekatannya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 18 orang siswa kelas IX SMPN 97 Jakarta Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kesalahan yang terjadi pada masing-masing tahap yaitu; 1) Understanding the Problem yaitu salah dalam memahami maksud dari kalimat soal maupun informasi yang diberikan dialami oleh S2, S3, S6, S7, S10, S12, S13, S15, S17, dan S18, 2) Formulating Mathematical Models yaitu salah dalam menghubungkan konsep matematika yang ada dialami oleh S1, S3, S4, S7, S10, S12, S13, S15, dan S18, 3) Mathematic Problem Solving yaitu proses penyelesaian yang melebihi jawaban yang sudah ditemukan ataupun menuliskan kesimpulan jawaban yang salah dan salah dalam menuliskan angka pada penyelesaian dialami oleh S1, S2, S6, S8, dan S9, dan 4) Reflection yaitu miskonsepsi hasil akhir dari penyelesaian dengan soal dialami oleh S4. Berdasarkan konteksnya, kesalahan siswa ditemukan dalam masalah konteks ilmiah, konteks pekerjaan, konteks sosial, dan konteks pribadi. Kesalahan tersebut termasuk salah menafsirkan grafik, kesalahpahaman masalah, kegagalan dalam mengidentifikasi pola, dan mengabaikan informasi penting. Berdasarkan tipe soal, kesalahan pada tipe soal grafik yaitu siswa tidak bisa membaca bentuk grafik, pada tipe soal cerita yaitu siswa yang tidak bisa mengilustrasikan permasalahan yang terjadi pada soal, pada tipe soal pola terjadi karena adanya miskonsepsi yang menganggap pola pada soal hanyalah gambar hiasan saja dan miskonsep terhadap konsep pola. *********************************************************** This study aims to identify student errors based on mathematization and determine the relationship between errors experienced by students in solving PISA level math problems based on the context and types of Algebra questions given at each level. The method used in this research is qualitative research with case studies as the approach. The subjects of this study were 18 students of class IX SMPN 97 East Jakarta. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and interviews. The results of this study indicate errors that occur at each stage, namely; 1) Understanding the Problem, namely misunderstanding the meaning of the question sentence and the information provided by S2, S3, S6, S7, S10, S12, S13, S15, S17, and S18, 2) Formulating Mathematical Models, which is wrong in connecting concepts mathematics experienced by S1, S3, S4, S7, S10, S12, S13, S15, and S18, 3) Mathematical Problem Solving, namely the completion process that exceeds the answers that have been found or writes the conclusions of wrong and wrong answers in writing numbers on completion experienced by S1, S2, S6, S8, and S9, and 4) Reflection is the misconception of the final result of the solution with the problem experienced by S4. Based on the context, students' errors were found in the scientific context, work context, social context, and personal context. Such errors include misinterpreting charts, misunderstanding the problem, failing to identify patterns, and ignoring important information. Based on the type of question, the error in the type of graphic question is that students cannot read the form of a graph, in the type of story question, namely students who cannot illustrate the problems that occur in the problem, in the type of problem the pattern occurs because of a misconception that the pattern in the question is just a decorative picture. and misconceptions about the concept of patterns.
