Abstract
Memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis menjadi bekal yang sangat penting bagi siswa sebelum memahami pelajaran fisika, sebab ada hubungan dua arah antara keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan hasil belajar fisika di sekolah. Namun, kondisi kemampuan tingkat berpikir kritis siswa di beberapa daerah di Indonesia masih dalam kategori rendah. Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang sesuai merupakan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu guru melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam proses pembelajaran fisika di sekolah melalui penggunaan video pembelajaran sebagai media pendukung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan tahapan Lee & Owens. Langkah-langkahnya yaitu penilaian/analisis (assessment/analysis) yang di dalamnya meliputi analisis kebutuhan (need assessment) dan analisis awal akhir (front-end analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Hasil dari penelitian ini berdasarkan rata-rata persentase uji validasi materi sebesar 92%, uji validasi media sebesar 82%, uji validasi pembelajaran sebesar 72% serta penilaian produk oleh pendidik sebesar 99% dan penilaian produk oleh peserta didik sebesar 85%. Dengan rata-rata keseluruhan yang diperoleh sebesar 86%, sehingga berdasarkan validasi produk dengan persentase 86% video pembelajaran masuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Selain uji validasi, didapati juga perolehan skor n-gain yaitu 0,39 masuk dalam kategori sedang. ********************************************************** Having critical thinking skills is a very important provision for students before understanding physics lessons, because there is a two-way relationship between students' critical thinking skills and physics learning outcomes at school. However, the condition of students' critical thinking ability in several regions in Indonesia is still in the low category. The use of appropriate learning media is an effort that can be done to help teachers train students' critical thinking skills in the learning process. Therefore, this study aims to provide solutions to the problems faced in the physics learning process in schools through the use of learning videos as supporting media. The method used in this research is Research and Development with Lee & Owens stages. The steps are assessment/analysis which includes needs analysis and final preliminary analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this study are based on the average percentage of material validation test of 92%, media validation test of 82%, learning validation test of 72% and product assessment by educators of 99% and product assessment by students of 85%. With an overall average obtained of 86%, so based on the validation of the with a percentage of 86%, learning videos are in the very feasible category. In addition to the validation test, it was also found that the n-gain score of 0.39 was in the medium category.
