Abstract

Penelitan dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa komik online matematika materi teorema Pythagoras untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Tahapan penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah sebagai berikut: a) penelitian pendahuluan berupa wawancara kepada guru matematika dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada siswa; b) proses pengembangan produk dimulai dengan pembuatan garis besar isi media; c) validasi oleh ahli; d) uji coba produk dalam skala kecil; e) uji coba produk dalam skala besar.Menurut hasil validasi, komik online matematika pada materi teorema Pythagoras dinyatakan layak digunakan dengan penilaian rata-rata dari ahli materi dan bahasa adalah 87,26%, serta 82,67% untuk dari ahli media. Kemudian pada hasil uji coba produk oleh guru matematika diperoleh persentase 94,86% di semua aspek materi, bahasa, grafika dan penyajian dan uji coba siswa skala kecil 86.39% . Menurut hasil uji coba produk oleh siswa dalam skala besar, diperoleh rata-rata 88,88%. Didasarkan pada skor rata-rata tersebut, komik online matematika dikategorikan sangat baik dan layak digunakan sebagai salah satu media pendukung pembelajaran matematika pada materi teorema Pythagoras kelas VIII SMP. ************************************************************ The purpose or researching this development is to develop an online math comic for the Pythagorean theorem material for grade VIII junior high school students. The development model used in this research is the Borg and Gall development model. The stages of the research carried out were as follows: a) preliminary research in the form of interviews with mathematics teachers and distributing questionnaires to students; b) the product development process begins with an outline of the media content; c) validation by experts; d) product trials on a small scale; e) product trials on a large scale. According to the validation results, online math comics on the Pythagorean theorem material were declared suitable for use with the average rating from material and language experts was 87.26%, and 82.67% for media experts. Then the results of product trials by mathematics teachers obtained a percentage of 94.86% in all aspects of material, language, graphics and presentation and small-scale student trials of 86.39%. According to the results of product trials by students on a large scale, an average of 88.88% was obtained. Based on the average score, online math comics are categorized as very good and suitable to be used as one of the supporting media for learning mathematics in the Pythagorean theorem material for class VIII junior high school.
