Abstract
************************************************************ The purpose of this research is to develop a mathematics learning video with a contextual approach to the material of straight line equations with the help of the Powtoon application. This study uses research and development methods that refer to the Borg & Gall model with 7 stages. These stages include preliminary research, data collection, developing initial products, expert validation, revisions, product trials, revisions and final products. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 44 Jakarta. The instruments used in data collection consisted of validity testing instruments in the form of validation sheets by media, material and language experts, as well as evaluation sheets by teachers and students. Based on the results of the feasibility analysis of learning videos by material and language experts, the percentage is 81.47% which is categorized as very good. The results of the feasibility of media experts obtained a percentage of 82.8% with a very good category. In the small group trial, the results of the percentage evaluation by teachers and students were 95.96% and 86.04% which were categorized as very good. While the large group trial yielded a percentage of 95.56% for teacher evaluation and 89.17% for student evaluation. The average percentage of the feasibility of this mathematics learning video at each stage reaches 88.5% which is categorized as very good, so this learning video is feasible to use. Keywords
