Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul digital “phymology” berbasis STEM-PBL yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi alat optik khususnya bagi siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang merujuk pada penelitian dan pengembangan model ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, butir validasi, dan tes tertulis. Modul digital dirancang untuk mempelajari materi alat optik. Hasil validasi modul digital oleh ahli materi sebesar 86,39 %, ahli media sebesar 85,92%, dan ahli pembelajaran sebesar 88,54% yang berarti modul digital dinilai sangat valid. Hasil uji coba lapangan kepada guru 92,77% dan kepada siswa 82.26% yang dikatakan modul digital sangat valid. Penggunaan modul digital ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA yang terlihat dari besar gain temomalisasi yang didapat dari uji coba lapangan sebesar 0.39 yang berarti terjadi peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan interpretasi sedang. Dari hasil uji kelayakan dan uji gain, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul digital “phymology” materi alat optik dinyatakan valid digunakan pada pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. ***************************** This study aims to develop a STEM-PBL-based digital "phymology" module that can improve critical thinking skills in optical instrument materials, especially for high school students. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) research which refers to the research and development of the ADDIE model. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, item validation, and written observation tests. The digital module is designed to study optical instrument materials. The results of digital module validation by material experts are 86.39%, media experts are 85.92%, and learning experts are 88.54% which means the digital module is considered very valid. The results of field trials to teachers are 92.77% and to students 82.26% which are said to be very valid digital modules. The use of this digital module can improve critical thinking skills of high school students as seen from the large thermomalization gain obtained from field trials of 0.39, which means improving critical thinking skills with moderate interpretation. From the results of the test and gain test, it can be said that the digital "phymology" module is a valid tool material used in physics learning to improve high school students' critical thinking skills.
