Abstract
Dalam pembelajaran fisika, hukum Archimedes merupakan salah satu hukum fisika dan mekanika fluida yang paling penting, berdasarkan file studi dari beberapa sekolah di Banten, hukum Archimedes merupakan materi fisika yang cukup sulit dan memerlukan pemahaman konsep yang mendalam. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan didapatkan level literasi sains peserta didik dikategori rendah pada materi hukum Archimedes. Sebanyak 60% peserta didik menganggap media yang telah ada sekarang dan guru gunakan tidak cukup mendukung proses pembelajaran Fisika. Sebanyak 96,4% peserta didik membutuhkan media simulasi online menggunakan komputer atau android untuk menunjang pembelajaran Fisika pada materi Hukum Archimedes. Massive Online Simulation (MOS) merupakan salah satu solusinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan “Massive Online Simulation (MOS) Hukum Archimedes” sebagai media pembelajaran fisika dan meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik pada materi hukum Archimedes. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode R&D dengan model ADDIE. Pengembangan media dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2021. Validasi terhadap produk penelitian telah dilakukan meliputi aspek media, aspek materi 1 dan aspek materi 2 dengan nilai rata-rata sangat baik (94%, 81% dan 87%). Berdasarkan hal tersebut didapatkan bahwa Massive Online Simulation (MOS) pada materi hukum Archimedes layak sebagai media pembelajaran fisika di SMA. Penelitian lapangan dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2021 di SMA IT Putri Al Hanif Cilegon. Sampel uji literasi sains adalah 44 peserta didik. Hasil uji gain didapatkan pencapaian peningkatan sebesar 0,78 yang dikategorikan tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, didapatkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan media Massive Online Simulation (MOS) pada materi hukum Archimedes mampu meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik. *********************************************** In physics learning, Archimedes' law is one of the most important laws of physics and fluid mechanics, based on study files from several schools in Banten, Archimedes' law is a physics material that is quite difficult and requires a deep understanding of concepts. Based on the preliminary study, it was found that the scientific literacy level of students was categorized as low on Archimedes' law material. As many as 60% of students consider the media that already exists and the teacher uses it is not enough to support the Physics learning process. As many as 96.4% of students need online simulation media using a computer or android to support learning Physics on Archimedes' Law material. Massive Online Simulation (MOS) is one solution. The purpose of this study is to develop "Massive Online Simulation (MOS) Archimedes' Law" as a medium for learning physics and to improve students' scientific literacy on Archimedes' law material. The method used in this research is the R&D method with the ADDIE model. Media development was carried out in April 2021. Validation of research products has been carried out covering media aspects, material aspects 1 and material aspects 2 with very good average scores (94%, 81% and 87%). Based on this, it was found that Massive Online Simulation (MOS) on Archimedes' law material was feasible as a medium for learning physics in high school. Field research was carried out in October 2021 at SMA IT Putri Al Hanif Cilegon. The scientific literacy test sample is 44 students. The gain test results obtained an increase of 0.78 which is categorized as high. Based on these results, it was found that learning activities using Massive Online Simulation (MOS) media on Archimedes' legal materials were able to improve students' scientific literacy.
