Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh dan menentukan struktur metabolit sekunder dari ekstrak etil asetat kayu batang Sukun (Artocarpus altilis). Dua senyawa golongan flavonoid berhasil diisolasi, berdasarkan hasil analisis data spektroskopi UV-Vis dan NMR, flavonoid yang diperoleh yaitu Siklomorusin (25) dan Sikloartokarpin (26). Senyawa hasil isolasi diuji aktivitas antioksidannya dengan metode DPPH, nilai IC50 kedua senyawa melebihi 200 ppm, sehingga senyawa hasil isolasi tidak berpotensi sebagai antioksidan. ************************************* This study aimed to obtain and determine the structure of secondary metabolites of ethyl acetate extract of Breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) stem wood. Two flavonoid group compound succesfully isolated, based on results of analysis UV-Vis and NMR spectroscopy data, flavonoid’s obtained were Cyclomorusin (25) and Cycloartocarpin (26). Isolated compound tested its antioxidant activity using DPPH method, the IC50 value of both compounds exceeded 200 ppm, isolated compounds had no potential as antioxidants.
