Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang instrumen penilaian membaca terintegrasi kompetensi TIK untuk Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (ELESP). Penelitian ini menggunakan Desain dan Pengembangan Penelitian (DDR) oleh Richey dan Klein (2007) sebagai desain penelitian. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitianiniadalahtigabelasinstrumenpenilaianmembacayangmencakupempat mata kuliah; membaca literal, membaca kritis, membaca afektif, dan membaca syntopical. Data berasal dari lima universitas di Indonesia yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan kerangka kompetensi TIK dari UNESCO, Common Eropa Framework Reference (CEFR) dan teori-teori kompetensi TIK lainnya. Temuan-temuan dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa: Pertama, instrumen penilaian membaca yang terintegrasi dengan kompetensi TIK sebagian besar berada pada tingkat melek teknologi. Kedua, prosedur dalam merancang tabel spesifikasi yang terintegrasikompetensiTIKdiketahuimelaluitujuanpembelajarandarimatakuliah membaca, menggunakan komponen-komponen dari tabel spesifikasi dan mengintegrasikannya ke dalam kompetensi TIK. Ketiga, prototipe tabelspesifikasi mengakomodasi tingkat kompetensi TIK yang diperlukan yaitu Melek Teknologi, Pendalaman Pengetahuan, dan Penciptaan Pengetahuan, yang juga diterapkan dalam instrumen penilaian membaca. Keempat, prototipe instrumen penilaian membaca terintegrasi tes kompetensi TIK yang memiliki telah dirancang adalah pertanyaan esai. Kelima, prototipe instrumen penilaian membaca non-tes kompetensi terintegrasi TIK yang telah dirancang dalam tugaskinerja. This study is aimed at designing ICT competences-integrated reading assessment instruments for English Language Education Study Program (ELESP). This study employed Design and Development Research (DDR) by Richey and Klein (2007) as the research design. The data used in this study are thirteen reading assessment instruments that cover four courses; Literal Reading, Critical Reading, Affective Reading, and Syntopical Reading. The data are from five universities in Indonesia that are analyzed by using ICT competences frameworks of UNESCO, Common European Framework Reference (CEFR) and other ICT competences theories. The findings of this study reveal that: First, ICT competences-integrated in the existing reading assessment instruments are mostly in technology literacy level. Second, the procedures of designing ICT competences-integrated table of specification are planned through knowing the learning objective from reading courses, using the components of the table of specification and integrating them into the ICT competences. Third, the prototype of the table of specification accommodates the necessary ICT competences levels namely Technology Literacy, Knowledge Deepening, and Knowledge Creation, which is also applied in reading assessment instruments Fourth, the prototype of the ICT competences-integrated test reading assessment instrument that has been designed are essay questions. Fifth, the prototype of the ICT competences-integrated non-test reading assessment instrument that has been designed is a performance task.
