Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi smartphone pada sektor pendidikan berpotensi dapat mendukung aktivitas pendidikan seperti mobile learning serta penggunaan media pembelajaran yang lebih modern dan fleksibel. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan saat ini dianggap masih kurang efektif dan interaktif, kemudian belum ada pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis mobile learning pada materi sistem rem mata kuliah Sasis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan dari multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Android untuk mata kuliah Sasis khususnya materi sistem rem. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Reaserach and Development (R&D) dengan menganut model Borg dan Gall dalam Sugiyono dengan 10 tahap, kemudian peneliti pangkas menjadi 7 tahap yaitu; potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Penelitian dilakukan di program studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta dengan subyek penelitian mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah Sasis. Hasil uji kelayakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Android oleh ahli materi diperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 89.3% dan oleh ahli media diperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 81.1%, diikuti uji coba perorangan oleh pengguna memperoleh persentase kelayakan 90% dan uji coba kelompok terbatas terhadap 10 mahasiswa memperoleh 91.6%. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan oleh para ahli dan uji coba produk menunjukkan secara konsisten masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan serta telah memenuhi persyaratan dan kriteria media pembelajaran. ************************************************************ The development of smartphone technology in the education sector has the potential to support educational activities such as mobile learning and the use of more modern and flexible learning media. The learning media used today are considered to be still less effective and interactive, then there has been no development of interactive learning media based on mobile learning on the brake system material for the Chassis course. This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of interactive learning multimedia based on Android applications for chassis courses, especially on brake system subject. The research method of this study is Research and Development (R&D) by the Borg and Gall model according to Sugiyono with 10 steps, then researchers cut it into 7 steps namely; potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The research was conducted at the Mechanical Engineering Education program, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University with the research subjects of Mechanical Engineering Education program students who were taking the chassis course. The results of the feasibility test for interactive learning multimedia based on Android applications by material experts obtained a feasibility percentage of 89.3% and by media experts obtained a feasibility percentage of 81.1%, followed by individual trials by users obtaining 90% feasibility percentage and limited group trials of 10 students obtaining 91.6%. Based on the results of feasibility tests by experts and product trials, it consistently shows that is in the "Highly Feasible" category for use also has qualified the requirements and criteria of learning media.
