Abstract
Sebagai perkembangan dan inovasi di era digitalisasi pendidikan, menjadikan siniar atau podcast sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif, praktis, kekinian, akses yang fleksibel, dan efektif untuk peserta didik, khususnya mahasiswa di tingkat Perguruan Tinggi. Mahasiswa cenderung merasakan kebosanan dan kekurangan minat belajar yang disebabkan oleh kurang bervariatifnya produk media pembelajaran pada pembelajaran di dalam maupun di luar kelas yang memiliki aspek praktis, kekinian, dan akses yang fleksibel, terutama pada pembelajaran mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian. Dalam menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penulis melaksanakan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran audiovisual berbasis siniar (iPod Casting) pada materi Konsep Dasar Metode Penelitian Pendidikan di mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian, serta mengukur tingkat keefektifan produk tersebut terhadap keberhasilan belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dalam pengembangannya. Pada proses penilaian kelayakan atau validasi produk ini memberikan instrumen kuesioner penilaian validasi kepada ahli materi, ahli media, dan uji praktikalitas media terhadap mahasiswa yang sedang/telah mengambil mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian di Prodi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta sebagai responden. Hasil uji validasi media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mendapatkan persentase 94% dari validator ahli materi , 94% dari validator ahli media, dan 88% dari hasil uji praktikalitas mahasiswa dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 35 mahasiswa. Selain itu, hasil uji praktikalitas soal�soal latihan pretest dan posttest guna mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa terkait materi yang dijelaskan dalam siniar dengan menggunakan rumus N-Gain mendapat persentase 59% dengan kategori “Cukup Efektif”. Maka hasil yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Media Pembelajaran Audiovisual Berbasis Siniar (iPod Casting) Pada Materi Konsep Dasar Metode Penelitian Pendidikan yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini “Sangat Valid” untuk digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dan bahan ajar bagi proses pembelajaran. ********************************************************** In the age of educational digitization, radio shows and podcasts have emerged as a creative, useful, modern, adaptable, and successful learning tool for students, particularly those attending universities. Students tend to feel boredom and lack of interest in learning caused by the lack of variety of learning media products in learning inside and outside the classroom which have practical, current, and flexible access aspects, especially in the learning of Research Methodology courses. In answering these problems, the author carried out research with the aim of developing a podcast-based audiovisual learning media product (iPod Casting) on the Basic Concepts of Educational Research Methods in the Research Methodology course, as well as measuring the level of effectiveness of the product on student learning success. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method and uses the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model in its development. In the feasibility assessment or validation process of this product, a validation assessment questionnaire instrument was provided to material experts, media experts, and media practicality tests for students who are/have taken Research Methodology courses at the S1 Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta as respondents. The results of the validation test of the developed learning media obtained a percentage of 94% from material expert validators, 94% from media expert validators, and 88% from the results of the student practicality test with a total of 35 students. Furthermore, the results of the practicality test of the pretest and posttest exercises to determine the increase in students' knowledge related to the material explained in the podcast, using the N-Gain formula, obtained a percentage of 59% with the category "Fairly Effective." Therefore, the results obtained can be concluded that the Audiovisual Learning Media Based on Podcast (iPod Casting) on the Basic Concepts of Educational Research Methods developed in this study is "Very Valid" to be used as a learning resource and teaching material for the learning process.
