Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembelajaran dapat mengatasi masalah tingginya angka kerusakan gigi pada anak usia dini. Dibutuhkan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan anak dalam menyikat gigi secara mandiri. Tujuan penelitian untuk menghasilkan, menganalisis kelayakan dan efektivitas model pembelajaran keterampilan menyikat gigi IA berbasis 3D printing bagi anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan mengkombinasikan model Borg and Gall dan Dick and Carey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, kuesioner, observasi dan instrumen yang digunakan divalidasi oleh pakar. Hasil pengembangan, syntax model pembelajaran terdiri atas 3 tahap yaitu presentasi, latihan dan praktik mandiri. Mengunakan strategi pembelajaran IA, bahan ajar modul, flipchart, model gigi dan mulut IA 3D printing, buku teks panduan guru dan video. Hasil evaluasi kelayakan model pembelajaran oleh ahli materi pendidikan anak usia dini, ahli media pembelajaran, ahli desain pembelajaran dan guru pada 3 tahap evaluasi formatif one-to-one, small group dan field trial diperoleh hasil sangat layak. Model pembelajaran secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan anak dalam menyikat gigi, dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata skor pretest dan posttest pada evaluasi field trial sebesar 16,90. Hasil uji perbedaan mean dengan uji t diperoleh hasil perbedaan yang signifikan dengan p value 0,000 dan nilai thitung sebesar 48,991, lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 2,042. Model pembelajaran memiliki tingkat efektivitas tinggi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menyikat gigi dengan hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 0,8794. Model pembelajaran keterampilan menyikat gigi IA berbasis 3D printing sangat layak dan efektif meningkatkan keterampilan menyikat gigi anak usia 5-6 tahun secara mandiri. A learning model is needed that can enhance children's skills in brushing their teeth independently. The aim of the research is to produce and analyze the feasibility and the effectiveness of learning model IA teeth brushing skills based on 3D printing in early childhood. The research method used is research and development, combining the Borg and Gall and Dick and Carey models. Data collection techniques used interviews, questionnaires, and observations, and the instruments used were validated by expert. The development results, the learning model syntax consists of 3 stages: presentation, practice, and independent practice. Using IA learning strategies, teaching materials such as modules, flipcharts, IA 3D-printed teeth and mouth models, teacher's guide textbooks, and videos. The results of the feasibility evaluation of the learning model by early childhood education material experts, learning media experts, learning design experts, and teachers at three stages of formative evaluation—one-to-one, small group, and field trial—obtained very feasible results. The learning model can significantly improve children's skills in brushing their teeth, with an increase in the average pretest and posttest scores during the field trial evaluation of 16.90. The results of the mean difference test using the t-test showed a significant difference with a p-value of 0.000 and a t-value of 48.991, greater than the t-table value of 2.042. The learning model has a high level of effectiveness in improving tooth brushing skills with an N-Gain test result of 0.8794. The learning model IA teeth brushing skills based on 3D printing is very feasible and effective in improving the teeth brushing skills of children aged 5-6 years independently.
