Abstract

Industri pelayaran di Indonesia, terutama yang beroperasi di wilayah kepulauan, memiliki peranan penting dalam mendukung perekonomian global. Salah satu aspek penting dalam industri ini adalah pengadaan spare part kapal yang tepat waktu dan berkualitas, yang sangat mempengaruhi kelancaran operasional kapal serta keselamatan pelayaran. PT Pelita Indonesia Djaya (PELNI Services) berperan sebagai penyedia layanan pendukung operasional kapal milik PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero), yang bertugas memastikan pengadaan spare part kapal terlaksana secara efisien dan tanpa hambatan. Namun, kesalahan dalam pengadaan spare part dapat menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan, mulai dari penundaan operasional kapal hingga gangguan pada distribusi barang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses manajemen perawatan kapal, mengidentifikasi permasalahan pengadaan spare part kapal, dan menganalisis proses pengadaan spare part di PT Pelita Indonesia Djaya menggunakan metode Fishbone Analysis. Metode Fishbone Analysis digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab-penyebab kesalahan pengadaan spare part dengan mengklasifikasikan faktor penyebab ke dalam kategori Man, Machine, Method, Material, Measurement, dan Environment. Penelitian mengenai pengadaan spare part kapal di PT Pelita Indonesia Djaya dengan Fishbone analysis menghasilkan beberapa kesimpulan. Manajemen perawatan kapal berjalan baik melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi yang terintegrasi, didukung oleh teknologi dan teknisi terlatih untuk menjaga kapal dalam kondisi optimal. Pengadaan spare part diatur ketat untuk memastikan kualitas dan ketepatan waktu. Berdasarkan analisis Fishbone, faktor utama yang memengaruhi kelancaran pengadaan adalah manusia, mesin, metode, dan material, yang saling berinteraksi dan dapat menghambat efisiensi. Proses pengadaan spare part melibatkan berbagai tahapan yang memerlukan perhatian cermat agar mendukung kelancaran operasional kapal. One important aspect of this industry is the timely and quality procurement of ship spare parts, which significantly affects the smooth operation of vessels and the safety of shipping. PT Pelita Indonesia Djaya (PELNI Services) acts as the service provider supporting the operations of PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero)'s fleet, ensuring the procurement of ship spare parts is carried out efficiently and without obstacles. However, errors in the procurement of spare parts can lead to various issues, ranging from delays in vessel operations to disruptions in goods distribution. This study aims to analyze the ship maintenance management process, identify issues in the procurement of ship spare parts, and analyze the spare part procurement process at PT Pelita Indonesia Djaya using Fishbone Analysis. The Fishbone Analysis method is used to identify the root causes of procurement errors by classifying contributing factors into categories such as Man, Machine, Method, Material, Measurement, and Environment. The research on ship spare part procurement at PT Pelita Indonesia Djaya using Fishbone Analysis leads to several conclusions. Ship maintenance management is well-executed through integrated stages of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, supported by technology and trained technicians to keep vessels in optimal condition. Spare part procurement is strictly regulated to ensure quality and timeliness. Based on the Fishbone analysis, the key factors affecting the smooth procurement process are human, machine, method, and material, which interact and can hinder efficiency. The spare part procurement process involves several stages that require careful attention to ensure the smooth operation of vessels.
