Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video pencegahan narkotika terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan remaja di RW 04, Kelurahan Cempaka Putih Barat. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari 20 remaja di RW 04. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode eksperimen dengan desain pre-experimental jenis one group pre-test post-test design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, sementara analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan nonparametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video pencegahan narkotika berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan pencegahan narkotika pada remaja di RW 04. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dengan nilai rata-rata 42,25 yang meningkat menjadi 84,75 pada post-test, serta uji tanda yang menghasilkan nilai probabilitas 0,000 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai probabilitas lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Oleh karena itu, pemilihan media yang tepat, seperti media video, terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta. Dengan demikian, disarankan untuk memasukkan media video sebagai alternatif atau tambahan dalam kegiatan. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of using video media on drug prevention in increasing the knowledge of adolescents in RW 04, Cempaka Putih Barat Subdistrict. The sample consisted of 20 adolescents from RW 04. This research adopted an experimental method with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-test post-test design. Data collection was conducted through tests, and data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and non-parametric tests. The results showed that the drug prevention video media significantly affected the increase in knowledge about drug prevention among adolescents in RW 04. Based on the pre-test average score of 42.25, which increased to 84.75 in the post-test, and the sign test yielding a probability value of 0.000 with a significance level of 0.05, it can be concluded that the probability value is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, the selection of appropriate media, such as video media, has been proven effective in enhancing participants' knowledge. It is recommended to include video media as an alternative or supplement in future activities.
