Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan latihan ladder drill dan running ABC terhadap kecepatan tendangan ura mawashi geri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Two Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 20 atlet KOP Karate UNJ, yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok melalui teknik purposive sampling, dengan masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 10 orang. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji-t dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tidak terdapat peningkatan setelah kelompok latihan berbasis Ladder Drill diberikan perlakuan, dengan t-hitung lebih kecil dari t-tabel, yaitu 1,3 < 2,262, yang meningkatkan kecepatan tendangan Ura Mawashi Geri. (2) tidak terdapat peningkatan setelah kelompok latihan berbasis Running ABC diberikan perlakuan, dengan t-hitung lebih kecil dari t-tabel, yaitu 0,057 < 2,262, yang meningkatkan kecepatan tendangan Ura Mawashi Geri. (3) terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam kecepatan tendangan Ura Mawashi Geri antara latihan berbasis Ladder Drill dan Running ABC, dengan t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel, yaitu 23,437 > 2,101. ****** This study aims to determine the comparison of ladder drill and ABC running exercises on the speed of ura mawashi geri kicks. This research uses a quantitative method with a Two Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 20 KOP Karate UNJ athletes, who were divided into two groups using a purposive sampling technique, with each group consisting of 10 people. Data analysis was carried out using the t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the analysis show that: (1) there was no improvement after the Ladder Drill-based training group was given treatment, with the t-count being smaller than the t-table, namely 1.3 < 2.262, which increased Ura Mawashi Geri's kick speed. (2) there was no improvement after the Running ABC-based training group was given treatment, with the t-count being smaller than the t-table, namely 0.057 < 2.262, which increased Ura Mawashi Geri's kick speed. (3) there is a significant difference in Ura Mawashi Geri's kick speed between Ladder Drill and Running ABC based training, with the t-count being greater than the t-table, namely 23.437 > 2.101.
