Abstract
FAZALIKA ALFITRI HERVIANTI Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Minat Investasi Di Pasar Modal Pada Gen Z Dan Milenial. Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2024. Minat investasi di pasar modal di kalangan Generasi Z dan Milenial mengalami peningkatan signifikan seiring dengan kemudahan akses teknologi digital. Namun, rendahnya literasi keuangan dan tingginya risiko penipuan investasi menjadi tantangan yang perlu diperhatikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Financial Literacy (Literasi Keuangan), Financial Inclusion (Inklusi Keuangan), dan Risk Perception (Persepsi Risiko) terhadap minat investasi pada kelompok usia tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Responden terdiri dari Generasi Z dan Milenial yang berinvestasi atau berminat untuk berinvestasi di pasar modal. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS dengan metode Partial Least Squares (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa financial literacy, financial inclusion dan risk perception memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap minat investasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan financial literacy dan financial inclusion untuk mendorong minat investasi pada generasi muda. Edukasi yang lebih efektif dan kampanye kesadaran akan risiko investasi perlu dilakukan untuk meminimalkan kerugian akibat penipuan dan pengambilan keputusan yang kurang tepat. Selain itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar studi selanjutnya memperluas cakupan variabel yang diteliti, memperluas populasi, dan memperluas daerah penelitian. Investment interest in the capital market among Generation Z and Millennials has significantly increased along with the ease of access to digital technology. However, low financial literacy and the high risk of investment fraud present challenges that need to be addressed. This study aims to analyze the influence of Financial Literacy, Financial Inclusion, and Risk Perception on investment interest within this age group. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The respondents consist of Generation Z and Millennials who are currently investing or are interested in investing in the capital market. The data collected were analyzed using SmartPLS software with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results show that financial literacy, financial inclusion, and risk perception have an influence on investment interest. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of improving financial literacy and financial inclusion to encourage investment interest among young generations. More effective education and awareness campaigns about investment risks need to be conducted to minimize losses from fraud and poor decision-making. Furthermore, this study recommends that future research expand the scope of the variables studied, broaden the population, and extend the research area.
