Abstract
Banyak media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu peserta didik untuk menemukan metode belajar yang menyenangkan dan menarik. Salah satunya adalah media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi. Pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi dapat mengungguli pembelajaran multimedia tradisional dalam meningkatkan sikap, perilaku, dan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan game edukasi “Thermoscore” yang mengangkat materi termodinamika sebagai media pembelajaran fisika yang dapat menambah pengetahuan serta daya tarik belajar fisika. Tahap pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE, dimulai dari tahap analisis kebutuhan hingga implementasi dan evaluasi. Sebelum melakukan tahap implementasi, “Thermoscore” telah melalui tahap uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi, ahli media pembelajaran, dan ahli perangkat lunak serta uji persepsi oleh guru Mata Pelajaran Fisika dan peserta didik mengunakan kuisioner Likert. Dari hasil uji kelayakan dan uji persepsi didapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 88,9% oleh ahli materi, 96,94% oleh ahli media pembelajaran, 95,84% oleh ahli perangkat lunak, 81.81% oleh guru Mata Pelajaran Fisika 1, 90,97% oleh guru Mata Pelajaran Fisika 2, dan 86,67% oleh peserta didik pada skala terbatas serta 83,71% oleh peserta didik pada skala besar. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Game Edukasi “Thermoscore” sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika materi termodinamika.***** Many learning media can help students to find fun and interesting learning methods. One of them is educational game-based learning media. Educational game-based learning can outperform traditional multimedia learning in improving student attitudes, behavior, and learning achievement. This study aims to develop an educational game “Thermoscore” which raises Thermodynamics material as a physics learning media that can increase knowledge and attractiveness of learning physics. The development stage is carried out using the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model, starting from the needs analysis stage to implementation and evaluation. Before conducting the implementation stage, “Thermoscore” has gone through the feasibility test stage by material experts, learning media experts, and software experts as well as perception tests by Physics Subject teachers and students using Likert questionnaires. From the results of the feasibility test and perception test, a percentage value of 88.9% was obtained by material experts, 96.94% by learning media experts, 95.84% by software experts, 81.81% by Physics 1 subject teachers, 90.97% by Physics 2 subject teachers, and 86.67% by students on a limited scale and 83.71% by students on a large scale. So it can be concluded that the Educational Game “Thermoscore” is very feasible to use as a physics learning media for Thermodynamics material.
