Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan terjadinya kenaikan kriminalitas remaja di Kota Depok serta memamaparkan upaya untuk menanggulangi kriminalitas remaja di Kota Depok (2012-2018). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis untuk membahas perkembangan krimnalitas remaja di Kota Depok. Metode historis merupakan metode penelitian yang menggunakan cara, prosedur ataupun teknik yang sistematik sesuai dengan asas dan aturan sejarah untuk menghasilkan tulisan sejarah. Dalam metode historis memiliki empat tahapan yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan penulisan sejarah. Pada awalnya peneliti mengumpulkan sumber yang sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Setelah mengumpulkan sumber, peneliti kemudian mengkritik sumber yang telah didapat. Selanjutnya penulis menafsirkan fakta dari sumber yang telah diverifikasi. Terakhir peneliti melakukan penulisan terhadap fakta yang telah didapatkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kriminalitas remaja yang ada di Depok tahun 2012-2018. Kriminalitas adalah hal yang terjadi di sekitar manusia, dan remaja menjadi salah satu pelaku kriminaitas tersebut. Kriminalitas yang dilakukan oleh remaja terbagi ke dua faktor yaitu faktor psikologi dan lingkungan. Penanganan kasus dari kriminalitas remaja sendiri harus memerhatikan beberapa aspek karena ini bisa mempengaruhi pertumbuhan seorang anak. Salah satu metode untuk menyelesaikan kriminalitas remaja adalah menggunakan metode diversi. Dan cara untuk menanggulangi kriminalitas remaja sendiri bisa berupa pendidikan karakter, menempuh jalur hukum, ditempatkan dalam LP3A, pengawasan Polisi, serta orang tua. ***** The purpose of this study is to explain the increase in juvenile crime in Depok City and to describe efforts to overcome juvenile crime in Depok City (2012-2018). This study uses a historical method to discuss the development of juvenile crime in Depok City. The historical method is a research method that uses systematic methods, procedures or techniques in accordance with the principles and rules of history to produce historical writing. The historical method has four stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historical writing. Initially, the researcher collected sources that were in accordance with the research topic. After collecting sources, the researcher then criticized the sources that had been obtained. Furthermore, the author interprets the facts from the verified sources. Finally, the researcher writes about the facts that have been obtained. The results of this study discuss juvenile crime in Depok in 2012-2018. Crime is something that happens around humans, and teenagers are one of the perpetrators of the crime. Crime committed by teenagers is divided into two factors, namely psychological and environmental factors. Handling cases of juvenile crime itself must pay attention to several aspects because this can affect the growth of a child. One method to resolve juvenile crime is to use the diversion method. And the way to overcome juvenile crime itself can be in the form of character education, taking legal action, being placed in LP3A, police supervision, and parents.
