Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model pembelajaran, kelayakan model pembelajaran dan efektivitas model pembelajaran kimia berbasis project based learning bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas kelas 10. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D), pada tahap awal penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development Borg and Gall step 1. Research information and collecting, pada tahap selanjutnya dilegitimasikan oleh Gall, Gall and Borg untuk mengembangkan produk pembelajaran menggunakan The systematic design of instruction model Dick, Carey, and Carey yang memiliki 10 tahapan pengembangan model pembelajaran. Pada tahap ke enam dari Dick, Carey dan Carey mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran dengan mengintegrasikan strategi pembelajaran project based learning dari Krauss and Boss dan tahap ke tujuh Dick, Carey dan Carey memilih dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran menggunakan sistematika merancang media pembelajaran dari Derek Rowntree. Penelitian dan pengembangan model pembelajaran ini menghasilkan bahan pembelajaran kimia berbasis project based learning, buku kerja siswa, buku proyek praktikum kimia dan buku referensi model pembelajaran kimia. Model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah melalui review expert judgement, dilanjutkan one-to-one, small group, dan field trial yang menunjukkan model pembelajaran kimia berbasis project based learning layak digunakan. Setelah dinyatakan layak selanjutnya dilakukan uji efektivitas sehingga mendapatkan hasil efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kimia berbasis project based learning. Hal ini berdasarkan nilai rata-rata pre-test =40.8 dan post-test =91.60, diperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0.86, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar kimia termasuk kategori tinggi. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan rata-rata pre-test dan post-test bersifat signifikan (thitung=19.693 > ttabel=1.729, df=19, p=0.001 < Sig.=0.05), dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran yang difasilitasi dengan model pembelajaran kimia berbasis project based learning dari hasil pengembangan secara signifikan terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kimia sekolah menengah atas kelas 10. Kata kunci: Pengembangan Model, Pembelajaran Kimia, Project Based Learning*************The aim of this research is to produce a learning model, the feasibility of the learning model and the effectiveness of the chemistry learning model based on project based learning for grade 10 high school students.The research methodology used in this study is Research and Development (R&D), in the early stages of this research and development using the Research and Development Borg and Gall step 1 approach, research information and collecting, in the next stage it was legitimized by Gall, Gall and Borg to develop learning products using The systematic design of instruction model Dick, Carey, and Carey which has 10 stages of learning model development. In the sixth stage of Dick, Carey and Carey developed a learning strategy by integrating the project based learning strategy from Krauss and Boss and the seventh stage Dick, Carey and Carey selected and developed learning media using the systematic design of learning media from Derek Rowntree. The research and development of this learning model produced chemistry learning materials based on project based learning, student workbooks, chemistry practicum project books and chemistry learning model reference books. The developed learning model has gone through an expert judgment review, followed by one-to-one, small group, and field trial which shows that the project-based learning chemistry learning model is feasible to use. After being declared feasible, an effectiveness test is then carried out to obtain effective results in improving student learning outcomes after using the project-based learning chemistry learning model. This is based on the average value of pre-test = 40.8 and post-test = 91.60, the N-Gain value is 0.86, it can be concluded that the increase in chemistry learning outcomes is included in the high category. The results of the t-test show that the difference in the average pre-test and post-test is significant (tcount = 19.693 > ttable = 1.729, df = 19, p = 0.001 < Sig. = 0.05), it can be concluded that learning facilitated by a chemistry learning model based on project based learning from the development results is significantly proven to improve the learning outcomes of high school chemistry students in grade 10.
