Abstract
Limbah organik yang tidak terkelola dengan baik merupakan permasalahan yang masih sering dijumpai di Indonesia, salah satunya adalah limbah sayur dan buah-buahan. BSF (Black Soldier Fly) menjadi salah satu solusi karena dinilai dapat mengkonversi limbah organik dengan baik. Penambahan bioaktivator EM4 dalam proses fermentasi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi degradasi limbah organik dan membantu larva BSF dalam mencerna limbah organik. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat kemampuan larva BSF dalam mereduksi limbah organik kulit pisang serta kulit tauge, mengetahui efek fermentasi limbah organik dan korelasi kondisi abiotik yaitu suhu, kelembapan dan pH pada pertumbuhan larva BSF. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 8 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan dengan pakan ayam sebagai kontrol. Setiap 100 larva 7-DOL membutuhkan pakan sebanyak 50 gram /interval dengan interval makan 1, 5 dan 8 . Data panjang larva dan berat larva dilakukan uji non-parametrik yaitu uji Kruskal-Wallis kemudian dilanjutkan uji post-hoc yaitu uji Dunn (P<0,005) dengan Bonferonni correction (P<0,001) dan data suhu, kelembapan dan pH terhadap panjang dan berat di uji korelasi menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman (P<0,05), sedangkan data kelangsungan hidup, WRI, dan Bioconversion rate disajikan dalam bentuk grafik persentase secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kombinasi kulit tauge 75% : kulit pisang 25% (P4) memiliki nilai reduksi sampah, nilai biokonversi, nilai panjang dan nilai berat tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup seluruh perlakuan memiliki persentase yang tinggi. *****Organic waste that is not well managed is a problem that is still often found in Indonesia, one of which is vegetable and fruit waste. BSF (Black Soldier Fly) is one of the solutions because it is considered to be able to convert organic waste well. The addition of EM4 bioactivator in the fermentation process can increase the efficiency of organic waste degradation and help BSF larvae digest organic waste. This study aims to determine the ability of BSF larvae to reduce the organic waste of banana peel and bean sprouts skin, to determine the effect of fermentation of organic waste and the correlation of abiotic conditions, namely temperature, humidity and pH on the growth of BSF larvae. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 8 treatments and 4 repetitions, with chicken feed as the control. Each 100 7-DOL larvae required 50 grams of feed/interval with feeding intervals of 1, 5 and 8. Data on length and weight were analyzed using a non-parametric test, specifically the Kruskal-Wallis test, followed by post-hoc Dunn’s test (P<0.005) with Bonferroni correction (P<0.001), and temperature, humidity, and pH data related to length and weight were analyzed using Spearman correlation (P<0.05). Survival rate, WRI, and Bioconversion rate data were presented descriptively in percentage graphs. The results showed that the 75% bean sprout skin: 25% banana peel combination treatment (P4) had the highest waste reduction value, bioconversion value, length value and weight value compared to other treatments with the survival rate of all treatments had a high percentage.
