Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaknai konflik yang terjadi dalam masyarakat pada novel Lengking Burung Kasuari (LBK) karya Nunuk Y Kusmiana. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini untuk melihat jenis dan sebab konflik pada masyarakat. Untuk melihat Jenis dan sebab konflik dalam novel LBK, peneliti menggunakan teori sosiologi Soerjono Soekanto. Dikatakan bahwa terdapat lima jenis konflik, yaitu: konflik pribadi, konflik politik, konflik rasial, konflik antarkelas, dan konflik yang bersifat internasional. Adapun sebab-sebab konflik ada empat, yaitu: perbedaan antar-perorangan, perbedaan kebudayaan, bentrokan kepentingan dan perubahan sosial yang terlalu cepat dalam masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dalam novel LBK, terdapat tiga jenis konflik, yaitu: konflik pribadi, konflik rasial dan konflik antarkelas. Hasil analisis terungkap bahwa sebab-sebab konflik yang terdapat dalam novel LBK ada tiga, yaitu: perbedaan antar perorangan, perbedaan kebudayaan, dan bentrokan kepentingan. Kata Kunci: konflik masyarakat, struktur novel LBK, sosiologi sastra. ABSTRACT This study attempts to perceive conflict in the novel Lengking Burung Kasuari ( LBK ) by Nunuk Y Kusmiana. Research descriptive this qualitative to see type and for conflict to the society. To see what kind of and causes of conflict in a novel LBK , researchers used the theory sociology Soerjono Soekanto. It is said that there are five types of conflict, namely: personal conflicts, political row conflict, racial conflict, inter-community conflict, and conflict the international. As for the cause of the conflict there are four , namely: Individual differences, Cultural differences, Different interests, and Social changes too soon in society. Based on the research done in a novel LBK , there are three types of conflict , namely: : personal conflicts, racial conflict, and inter-community conflict. The results of the analysis revealed that the cause of the conflicts that there are in a novel lbk there are three , namely: Individual differences, Cultural differences, and Different interests.
